Sanders' forcing of HRC to move from her cozy center-left position is a good thing, IMO.

I see the GOP moving more and more to the extreme, and much as HRC has had to match Bernie, so too have the GOP candidates had to "out extreme" one another to try and keep up.

Progressives have eliminated moderate democrats. How left is that?

Popular indeed.

Maybe his ideals resonate with more of our fellow Americans that peop,e want to believe.

Maybe it's an indictment against establishment politics.

Or maybe, (to steal your term), it's because he has no efs left to give.

Or  maybe due to his being popular with a generation or two who haven't had to sacrifice and work hard to get things in life.

Not yet but, with peeps like BaRack getting elected by the "I want free stuff and you owe me just for being born" crowd, they're slowly chipping away at it!

Funny thing

The people with that attitude, and who are actually taking everything they can get for free, that I knew in Missouri and have encountered since moving to Texas, all vote Republican

All of them, and always because they are afraid and the "feel" " safer" with Republicans in office.

That is their own words.

All the dem voters I know are working and paying their bills and taxes and raising their kids pretty "conservatively".

I think some folks have fallen for The Big Fat Republican Lie
