I'm surprised he picked such specious points to hit Cruz with.
I'm surprised because Trump is very intelligent, maybe the only equal to Cruz, who has verifiable scholarship.

And invoking 911 to try and say Cruz was attacking the heroes of 911, when the Trump campaign knows full well, Cruz was talking about the Russert interview in 99 when Trump himself said " hey I'm a New Yorker, my values are different than those from Iowa" (paraphrasing).
To date Cruz has run a perfect campaign and his clash with Trump was inevitable.
I expect to see Cruz rise in the polls when more get educated on the differences between Trump and Cruz.
Trump is the perfect storm for this primary btw, he's run interference for the rest of the field and actually got more people paying attention much earlier then normal, this is working to Cruz's benefit.
