Temporary Injunction against USAPA filed today

I am hearing the company went into the Wells CVR, also the use of Aerobahn is illegal as the are using the transponders of jets in CLT. All in violation of the CBA. Read your contract. They cannot do this and we should pursue.
It is you that needs to read your contract. Yes I am sure that they pulled the CVR and that is why the company is so confident in their position. But your contract at least our contract says that the CVR can not be used for disipline. Was she disiplined? NO! Time off with pay is not punishment. (Ask the 3 west pilots)

What part of the contract says the company can not use trans signals? Dispatch looks at your position all of the time. If a pilot flying 4000" lower than planned on a number of that pilot will get called in. Not a violation. MX looks at the signals coming from the airbus all of the time.

You're both wrong. This will go on and on in the Courts for decades. By the time it's settled the only people that care will be in nursing homes griping about how they got screwed by their coworkers on the other side of the argument.

2011 looks profitable, US Airways exec says

Despite a dramatic run-up in fuel costs, US Airways Group Inc. President Scott Kirby told analysts Tuesday that the Tempe-based carrier expects to post a modest profit for 2011.

Capacity reductions, ancillary revenue and robust demand have put the airline in a better position to absorb higher fuel costs than in 2008, when a rapid increase in the price of jet fuel led the airline to post an $800 million loss.

"Our revenue picture is much stronger than it was in 2008," Kirby told analysts at the Deutsche Bank Aviation and Transportation Conference in New York City.


He said that the airline is on track to post a $26 million profit for 2011 and that September's revenue is expected to be up 13 percent over the same month a year ago.

"There seems to be a disconnect between what we're seeing in our business and what we're reading in the headlines," he said, referring to reports of the weakening economy.

The favorable report prompted US Airways shares to soar Tuesday, jumping 79 cents, or more than 16 percent, to close at $5.64.

The news followed a Monday report from the U.S. Department of Transportation that the airline ranked 15th among the nation's 16 largest airlines for consumer complaints in July; sixth for lost-baggage reports; and 10th for on-time arrivals.

Yup, I know. And I was mocking just about the entire pilot group that posts here. One of you says "I'm right, I'm getting what I want," which is replied to with "facts" that show otherwise. Then the first side provides more "facts" refuting the second parties "facts." After a few rounds of this it degenerates back to "You're wrong, I'm right," "No, YOU'RE wrong and I'M right!" I've got no idea who's right, and quite honestly you guys have no clue either. In fact, no one does as the Judge or Judges that will hear the final case don't have this case yet and might not even be on the bench yet. They will be the ones to decide which one is right, and, quite honestly, by the time this is all done they'll say half of the arguments are irrelevant becasue it's no longer an issue. That, or we'll merge with someone else like American and y'all will get what APA decides you get.

What's ironic with you easties and this DJ is that you're fighting something that will end our stalemate more quickly.

You guys are confident that S22 is open to negotiation yet you fightnthe very instrument that may prove you right. Why?

Why haven't you tried to expedite the hearing?
