Temporary Injunction against USAPA filed today

Major attrition? I suggest you look at your numbers again as well as the seats that are going to retire. Its not as spectacular as you think.

And that wait is going to cost you. You may have that destructive desire to hold on, but I'm pretty sure the majority of your east buddies do not.
It looks real good for us out east, enjoy the heat and sand kid. PS The real question is what's it costing YOU. Keep those donations coming in.!!!!!

I remember them pining about 400+ Captain Seats that they think belong to them on the East Side..........That makes 75%+ of the entire West List a Captain. Who is really angry here? LMAO!!!!! They really DO need the East and a joint Seniority List to move up, otherwise major stagnation for them as they are experiencing now. The "eye on the prize", East Attrition............

Eye on the prize while the east begs for compromise.

"Compromise" wasn't in the West's vocabulary, still isn't and that is why we are where we are. I'm loving it, moving north every bid......Keep it separate forever. LOA 93, who cares which way it goes.

You accuse me of being a raving lunatic, yet you've never made my acquaintance, much less before I heard of ALPA?
Have you ever met the West pilots you accuse hate the East?

You're taking yourself and this board a little too seriously.

Actually it was. When we were in negotiations and in arbitration. The east MEC wouldn't allow the MC to come off of DOH at all. They had no wiggle room whatsoever. No, the lack of compromise came from the east. And now with USAPA as the CBA and single carrier status, there is no way to compromise. This was your bed you made. Enjoy it.

BTW, LOA 93 saves the company around $360M a year. DP thanks you.

And DP is cleaning your arses out & laughing all the way to the bank.

That he is and I did not vote "YES" for LOA 93. This is what happens when a POS gets voted in. Kirby Proposal is a POS also. So at the end of the day, the East is the "bottom of the barrel", the West is one notch above and if the Kirby Proposal got voted in BOTH East and West would be the "bottom of the barrel"...........So as it sits now, maybe we collectively have a chance in the future of NOT being the "bottom of the barrel". A LOA 93 victory would help that cause, I am all for demanding "pay parity" for the West if we win. But we know what Tempe's answer is going to be......

NO "compromise" was not. But then again the East ALPA Merger Committee Member who told me that was probably lying to me. BTW, being that Section 22 is in the Collection BARGAINING Agreement, there is always "compromise". If there wasn't "compromise" in NEGOTIATIONS, we would not be in NEGOTIATIONS, would we? How do we modify Labor Contracts if there is NO "compromise"?

Keep reading that statement over and over again.......let me know what it really means to the company as a whole. I hope you have your financial matters in check.......

You guys have been lied to by your union leadership for a long, long time. When the end game nears and things aren't as rosy as you were lead to believe, well, we know what happens then. You lose your pension and LOA 93 comes onto property.

And you're right, S22 is open for negotiations. Right now the Nic is in place and you're free to try and move away from it. But, obviously, that would cause harm to the west and DFR 2 would ensue shortly after the injunction is put in place preventing the new contact from taking effect. So try to renegotiate S22 if you want. If it was at all possible, don't you think USAPA would have done that by now?

Now, just to straighten you out. I referred to compromise during the negotiations/arbitration process between the east and west and not the contract talks. You went off on some tangent here and assumed I was talking about negotiations with the company. So understand there is no compromise on the Nic award. And, as I stated above, you can try to put something else in its place for S22 but the company won't even look at it and we'll sue you again.

Why, you think you're going to shut this place down?

Dream on.

And its amazing that those with no pension and a crappy contract are giving financial advice.
