Temporary Injunction against USAPA filed today

Why don't you suggest to Parker we try selling crack on the flights too, we might make even more money. He might actually go for it.

The east could sell hyperbole and whining, they seem to generate more of that each day, instead of common sense.

Oh, you poor victims... 🙄

I was told Dr. Lee's report did not take into account runway construction in CLT or weather. I truly don't know, but if it doesn't, it can't be very accurate.

Driver B)

Ohhhh, so the judge should take into account the runway closures in CLT & Luv's remark about the RJ's? That should take care of ZERO percent of what Dr. Lee DOCUMENTED (but what EVER YOU DO, DO NOT READ THE REPORT! YOU SHOULD BELIEVE EVERYTHING USAPA TELLS YOU!!)?? STOOGES? UNITE!!!

USAPA = Hey Moe! USAPA says we're in the RIGHT, did he mean in the mind?? NYUK , NYUK, NYUK!

Profits generated by fees....Kind of a crappy business model..

But one shared by most of the legacies - exclude AA since even with fees they haven't made a profit lately. What was it that was said about WN not many years ago - they only made money because of their fuel hedges? Well, surprise, surprise, they have fees too - just fewer - as do the other lcc's.

Bottom line - a business exists to make money. If AA struck oil behind it's CHQ, they'd be profitable. Profits enable employees to seek better pay/bennies. Every East employee knows first-hand what it's like to work for a company that loses too much money. So give more concessions in exchange for eliminating fees if it'll make you feel better about US.

Jim

Just baggage fees by airline for 2010:

DL - $952M
AA - $581M
US - $514M
CO - $342M
UA - $313M
FL - $152M
AS - $109M
F9 - $52M
B6 - $57M
(continuing to)
USA3000 - $3M

You do realize there are other workgroups here outside of flight ops, right? Aren't the dispatchers on their second contract? Why would you want to shut down a business because a relatively small group is unhappy? That's your logic?
It is all about power and you are losing.

What's the old saying Jim?

"Everybody makes money in the airline business except the airlines". More true today than ever.

Good one!
Obviously another east lemming who knows nothing about running a business. His union is in shambles, operating in the red, an assessment coming down from CLT, and he thinks he can be a better CEO. Parker is doing fine. He's kept you easties in check and on LOA 93 for how long? So long that your captains have to go to the crew news and cry to Parker and beg him for pay parity.

Guess you have more free time on your hands than I do.

It was merely a point/question.

SO how does it feel knowing that a company with Bill Franke as lead investor pays it's pilots more than you earn?

That's who put the money into Spirit and that's why they went public so he could cash out. The company is doing amazingly well and is on it's way to breaking the Billion Dollar Revenue Club. They are accomplishing this under the leadership and guidance of a host of "Easties" from US Airways. Three of the top five at Spirit are Easties along with a boatload of mid level folks. some of whom made the transition to The Sandcastle only to leave to join Spirit. If DP & SK are so wonderful why bolt to an upstart like Spirit? If the pilots are any indication apparently the pay is better as (So I'm told) are the working conditions

Looking at the big picture, absolutely. Heck, just since the turn of the century the airlines have lost money overall. Whether the industry has really adjusted to a new paradigm remains to be seen if good times like the 90's when nearly everyone was raking in the money (except a..a..achUS) ever come back.

I still have them beat. You need to find an eastie for that question.

Listen wise arse, Tempe and the Sandcastle team of scary talent are in the WEST. So the mid level and Sr. People who left all that scary talent at 111 Rio Salada MOVED across the US to get away from the toxic management of US Airways.

I'd be real curious how you do better money wise.

No, not even close.

C'mon, Move2......you can admit it, you're amoung friends here.

You're just a Westie who likes to take it in the rear from Parker just because you enjoy it. Piss on the other employees throughout the industry.....you're gittin yours. I would even think a whore like you would do a little scabbin' at night, when no one is watchin'.

After all...it's all about you.
