So how many of you east guys got the latest text sent out over the weekend stating that Cleary's most recent statements were "for legal purposes only" and should not be considered a signal to stop current East behavior?
Anyone? You can tell me. What's said on this board stays on this board.

I have never received any text concerning anything to do with pilot issues or contract stuff.
However the only people that have my cell number is the company, USAPA , East Crewmembers and friends.
Seems odd for text messages to be going to west guys when I have not received one.
I did change cellphones right around the time the pilot info was passed to AOL. Am I missing out on the text's due to that?
As of yesterday, I have received 32 text messages from 704-607-3313 advocating a work slow down. The first message was received June 29. They are all signed "The Captain".
Do you suppose "The Captain" and "Stickerboy", who has ramped up his clipboard campaign in the last week or so, are one in the same person?
Don't know. But it stands to reason since USAPA has my number and I have not received any texts, they are coming from some source other than the union.
I didn't revise or edit. I quoted (precisely) what I considered to be the pertinent part. Did you or did you not say that the MEC decided to go into arb with their best case? Oh, look - I believe you did. How convenient to "forget" what happened after "the merger committee was given free rein" and "The MEC then decided to go into arb. with their best case." "Minor" details like DOH petitions, recall threats, and an MEC resolution forcing the MC to seek DOH in negotiations slip your mind? One can certainly revise history by leaving out a few pertinent events....![]()

We'll see if the Judge buys the "vast right wing conspiracy" act
I'm a great guy Pi. All the west guys love me. I don't know how I can do any better. You changed the context. It's what you do. You have a 20+ year chip on your shoulder, plus you just really like to argue. As I said, and arbitrator decided US/PI should be DOH. Get over it.
My information came from a merger committee member, so I will take it over yours or any worthless POS westie poster like today's name, move2CLT. They looked at many different ideas. They paid a Canadian company to come up with a list, but it would have put some westies below some of our furloughees and that was the west line in the sand. That line in the sand convinced them that arbitration was inevitable and to go into with their strongest case, which was LOS, not DOH. Right or wrong, both sides did that. Remember the west's generous proposal going into arbitration?
"Instead, America West
added to its 855 Captains an additional 114 First Officers, who,
America West claimed, expected captaincies based on the 19 A320s on
firm order as of May 2005. That combined figure (969) was to be
integrated on a straight ratio basis with 1121 US Airways Captains, a
number derived from staffing assumptions based on what 'were 221 US
Airways aircraft as of February 2006. This ratio would be followed by an
integration of the remaining America West First Officers (925) with
1051 US Airways First Officers, also on a straight ratio basis. After the
reinsertion of those on extended medical leaves and those in nonflying
positions, this would put 2431 US Airways pilots on the bottom of
the list, 959 of whom were active pilots as of May 19 2005.............."
Not exactly the basis for a negotiated settlement, and a FACT, directly from the opinion and award.
And move2CLT, or whoever you are today, I've been on here a while, countering every b.s. statement I can with facts. Along the way I have conceded the failures of the east. I'm leaving because people like you are changing my view of west pilots for the negative more than good posters like lynrdskynrd can keep it positive. Deep down I know that most west pilots are good people, but you are at the top of the 5%ers and not doing you side any good.
Let him be Pi. He's doing a great job. Do you think he's Jarry Glass too? He reads like yellownecker. Or maybe it's Bill Pollock.Yeah, don't let kero's logic get in the way of a good conspiracy. Who knows who sent the texts, but seems like if it was union driven all east pilots would get it an no west pilot would, right?
What was your previous screen name? You style is familiar, but can't place you.
You are doing more harm than good.
I'm a great guy Pi. All the west guys love me. I don't know how I can do any better.
Cactuspilot1 is new. And you forgot to throw in Glass.Which guy do they love? Yellowneck, Cactuspilot1 or Metroyet? Looks like we got a 3 for 1 deal going!![]()

Nothing conclusively proves that USAPA is behind it.
