The Bus Orders Are In

I want to go to the Airbus plant and talk to the designers.

As a F/A I have an interest in this. I really don't think a pencil-pusher in Inflight out of TEMPE should be doing this. They are clueless.

Any ideas?

I'm sure these bozos will send someone from marketing. They seem to run the show here.

When HP took delivery of the 2nd set of airbuses, the FA's helped create some of the design of the galley space, this was under Anthony Mule at the time. Now Marketing is pretty involved in the passenger aspect, but Inflight should also be included, I would imagine the new Focus group would be involved.

When US Airways took on the initial Airbus, "flight-attendants" had input to the galley designs, etc. We were all excited about it until we started working them. Then, it suddenly came to light that they were "management fligth attendants" who hadn't worked onboard an aircraft in YEARS!

I personally love the f/c galley drain that is a whopping 3 centimeters deep. Let's see...coffee gets poured out on descent. On descent it gets bumpy so let's have a really shallow drain so coffee goes everywhere. Need a paper towel. Oh no paper towels. The paper towel holder is missing since the 8 centimeters of velcro didn't hold up and now the cover is AWOL. Now my People magazine soaked up the coffee so eff it.
