A/C 635 right wing outboard slat (#10) struck A/C 6705 right wing tip while repositioning by contract ramp. Large hole in #10 slat A/C 635.

Correction to subject line:
Contract workers. Maintenance didn't do it.

Looks like ANOTHER EXAMPLE of "You get what you pay for" !!

and the contractor probably is paying for damages as is typical. NW was even successful at getting money out of JFK airport because they did not probably clear taxiways of snow several years ago causing damage to one of their aircraft.
