I honestly don't have a good read on the outcome of this TA vote. Might be close?

I'm not on facebook, but there are the same barnacles holding fast to voting no, specifically because of the vacation loss. I voted yes last time and am still voting yes this time even though I think this ta is a little worse.

There is a benefit to east reserve yes voters in the 15 year range that wouldn't mind commuting West or live on or near the West Coast. Base opening will be available so anyone on reserve between 7-15 years can change your base to Phoenix and hold a line at the 7-8 year mark. Commuting isn't the greatest of choices, but at least it is any option (being that we are one company, yes?)

On the line, I'm hearing both yes and no votes...still others won't say.

There are a bunch of No voters out west because they think there's going to be this huge rush to transfer to PHX from the east. Unlikely but fear is what is driving their vote.

And then there are the No voters who wouldn't vote for a gold plated contract just because the company hasn't offered them PS (positive space) so they can commute.

They are still a lot of fence sitters.

"This was the eline sent to all pilots today. Contained a few other items that are privy to pilots only but, we all know FALSE info is being passed around on the TA. Those "few F/As" are asking pilots to hand that FALSE info out. Some pilots think it's from AFA. So, USAPA sent the following to all Pilots:

Fellow Pilots-
As you are aware, our flight attendants are in the middle of their ratification balloting and tension is mounting as the closing date fast approaches. AFA leadership has informed us that some materials are being distributed that contain false and inaccurate information. The AFA leadership has asked that our pilots respect this ratification process and refrain from participating in the distribution of any information pertaining to the AFA tentative agreement.

Bottom line- if the roles were reversed, and a pilot came up to you in the crew room saying "pass this out to your pilots"- you should decline. They would never tolerate us in their business and vice versa. They don't know our contract or us theirs. We must respect those boundries.
