that is a cute photo!! everyday low prices at the expenses of the low waged employees!

Rico,

There is no gaurantee that with concessions US will survive.

Two bankruptcies in two years and three rounds of employee concessions and US is still on life support and almost dead.

I can see the slogan now...

Everyday low prices on a limited amount of seats with advance purchase on select routes also served by LCC.

Yeah whatever 700UW, feel free to give up and leave anytime you want, the rest of us will try to stick around and try to make it work.

Look, just because the glamor of the airline industry is nothing like this anymore...

Does not mean it is without merit as a profession to some of us.

It is your choice to change careers if you cannot handle the way things have developed, but just like the changes that occured since the "golden age of airlines", the kind of flying that the consumer now demands will force us to adapt or die as an carrier.

Deal with it. Just stop whining already...

What do you have one year at MDA?

You are not even a mainline employee.

I have 16 years all at mainline, I have more to lose then you and I will be gone anyhow, my job is scheduled to be outsourced.

Its OK Lavvie, as long as people are around, there will be feces and urine to muck out of bathroom stalls. You'll be OK.

And as long as their are big business who love to screw the little guy there will be a need for lawyers like you to defend them.

Call a vendor, I will be moving on to bigger and better things.

And don't you mean the muck out of your mouth?

And I have not been on the line in several months.

Keep trying.

Oh, boo hoo.

My job in the left seat got phased out too, at a part of the very same company. Mainline or wholly owned, same outfit pal...

It is a shame that industry changes force changes upon people like you and me, but that is the way it is big guy. You can adapt and move on like I did (me MDA, you FSA), or you can just sit there and pout like you have been doing.

You leave with severence, you leave with the opportunity to collect unemployment, you leave with the chance to cash out some of your sick time, the chance to recall and start in a FSA position eventually, and you can travel for the rest of your life on us for free regardless...

That is SOMETHING. voting no and placing this place in further peril, or leading it towards it's demise thru work action will leave you with NOTHING.

So be a baby if you want, but change is going to happen no matter what. Might as well make the most of it.

Didn't think being a bed-pan attendant was that much of a bigger and better thing, but whatever floats your boat.
