Have to admit, he schooled Obama today.

as much as I dislike the messiah and his cronies ,Cheney couldnt get elected dog catcher

Dont make me come over there with my waterboard! LOL
HaHa I'd buy a ticket to see Pelosi waterboarded, maybe her plastic face would come undone and she would look like the person the the old bitter beer ads...lol

I think water boarding is an effective treatment for sinus related problems.

Former Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge disagrees. "Yeah, I disagree with Dick Cheney," the Pennsylvania Republican and former Bush administration official told CNN's John King, adding he "does not" think the country is more vulnerable to an attack under President Obama.

Let the attacks on Tom Ridge commence!

You're all going to laugh at me regarding who might be the next President, assuming we still have a country.

Allow me to paint a brief and simplistic picture.

Recession continues beyond what is projected with little improvement by late 2011.

We get hit with another terrorist attack, though not as severe. During the attack and it's aftermath Obama appears weak and the response is disjointed.

taxes are raised to cover building the nanny state ala Europe.

Behold a challenger appears with strong traditional values who is far more conservative and makes no bones about it. Their voice and message begins to resonate with the "swing" voters who have grown tired of waiting on the Obama plan and are now open to new ideas.

Behold who could this "Pale Rider" be?

Ladies and Gentleman please make welcome America's first female President Sarah Palin.

Remember truth like politics is stranger than fiction.

Under the right circumstances based on events that transpire I could see it happening.

Piney, I for one, always take your imput as Valuable !

But, I'll ask you to remove the "attack" segment(like in none), and then ask you to re-evaluate your prediction .

As for taxes, well, under Repugs, the wealthy have been UNDERPAYING for a Looooong time.
Bo has ask 'them' to pay Ronald Reagan type taxes ! Repugs(I thought) felt that Reagan could do no wrong ??

Thx.

NHBB, its going to be more than just the supposed "wealthy" footing the bill for Obama's grand spending spree. All of us are going to have to take a bite. Increasing taxes on business's, services, goods etc. Is a tax increase!

Theres no way that the "wealthy" are going to fund this alone. The bar will drop to include us all.

Cheney will never be President! His health would never allow it. He is now an American Enterprise Fellow. He may be an influence in the media and behind the scenes, but will never be President even if the Party calls him.

I believe Cheney will stay doing what he is doing now to preserve a legacy as long as Obama's is still running again George Bush. Its Obama's mess now not George Bushes. Bush has been gone since Jan 20. Bush had to deal with Clinton's mess he created. Obama said he wanted the job, so it is his mess now!!

I don't mind paying taxes for defense spending which is what Reagan's increases went towards. I do have a problem with my money being given out to those who don't want to aspire to anything more than stay on welfare.

I find it hard to believe that taking 35 to 50% of one's income is underpaying, Bears...

I was under the impression that the way in which defense spending is allocated was welfare for the military industrial complex. Bid $X.xx but know damn well it will be 2 or 3 times that amount but no worries, Uncle Sam will pay. Talk about welfare.
