I just returned from LA and the amount of discussions by the employees concerning the downfall of US is rapid around the airport & A/C. Between SHARES, The A320 reconfig, lack of customer service this airline is doomed at it's current coarse.

Actually the first two A-321's are currently in PIT Heavy MTC for their reconfiguration, I think that will be "HUGE" compared to the A-320 mess !

Wait and see, this has been widely discussed (and cussed) already on this board. I would not plan on trying to non-rev on a 321 transcon that is booked much more than the current capacity as that's about the most weight they can carry ! Good luck to us all !

Oh now I just got heartburn. With all the other great decisions this one slipped my mind. What a nightmare waiting in the wings, right in front of the fat lady. I hope the extra fuel and the landing fees for fuel stops is worth "saving" those few extra bucks. :blink:

I can hardly wait to see how they "F" Up the 321.....the drama NEVER ceases to end! Whomever IS responsible for these moronic decisions needs to be STONED and given a swift kick in the arse....the stupidity seems to be NEVER ENDING! And these fools want to fly to China STOP the Maddness!

I think I just figured out why they are doing this. If they need to consistently stop while doing transcons, they will plan it so that the flight is short enough to avoid (1) serving meals; and (2) showing movies. These two cost cutting items will save BILLIONS.

The way they intend to reconfigure the 321 is almost intentional. They KNOW it going to cause problems. Though important, forget about employee and customer being pissed off. This is going to be an operational nightmare. Why not just take it off transcon then. There will be NO closets and the valet will be gone. Nice. So, 16 coats on two tiny hooks? How is THAT going to work.
