Top Ten Reasons to Vote NO

Gentlemen. After reading this entire post(I am a little brain dead), and reading all the TWU and AA information, I even took the time to read the BK website documents, the companies as well as the union response, and after much soul searching, I have made my vote, I have looked at all the negatives and all the too few pluses. And made my decision, not on emotion, but on the facts as I have read and understood them. As you should also, make your decision on facts not fear, or emotion. Good luck to us all, whichever way this goes.

the ability to fly RJ's where AA wants is obviously seen as a threat. And, rightly so. Again, add in the 50% of domestic code sharing, and what's left of AA??? Probably INTL flying, maybe??

It's a threat?.... If AA wants to fly 300 RJ's, they'd need to have 600 mainline airplanes. If they want to codeshare, they have to keep the mainline airplanes busy enough to offset the codesharing ASMs.

I don't know how either of those could be seen as a threat.

At worst, it would force AA to maintain its current size.

At best, it allows AA to engage in some quick growth WITH NO RISK TO THE EMPLOYEES.

If it doesn't work out, the codeshare gets dropped.

If it works out, employees share in the upside thru profit sharing.

I can't make it any simpler than that to try and keep track of...

You guys have claimed for a long time that it's the company's job to manage where to put the airplanes. Why not let them do it for once?...
