It was AA that made me a hater 12 years ago giving out 4/10/2001 seniority and threw me out in the street like a filthy animal. Now and A few thousand exTWAers that still keep in touch thanks to Facebook , we are dancing and the big celebration is coming. I got the Champagne chilled. I hope it was us TWAers that brought the once powerful AA down to it's knees because that's what it did to us.I am hoping we infected AA. Take that 4/10/2001 seniority and shove it.

maybe if you wish really really really hard usair will buy AA and they will correct the situation and any past hard feelings and dovetail everyone into one happy family! than you can say indirectly kinda sorta my wish came try i work for AA again!

What happened to your seniority was between the defacto "AA owned" twu and the IAM - we workers hadn't one thing to do with it.

Personally, I had hoped you people would be dovetailed in, retaining your seniority, but that wasn't what your supposed representation had in mind for you after your dues were obviously going to go elsewhere - and the twu was all to happy to oblige.

You have every right to be angry but the least you could do is direct your anger towards those who deserve it - that would be your darling IAM and that group of charlatans, aka the twu.

I think it's best to break up AA and make the remaining airlines
 stronger,healthier and give the creditors some value. It would also
 give the employees closure.

IAM, TWU it really does not matter. They are both AFL-CIO industrial machines.

Plus the huge orders for new Boeing and Airbus that begin in 2013. In support of these purchases, AA will have to disclose numbers to the committee that neither AA nor Boeing will want anyone to learn, so these agreed-upon protective order will help preserve these secrets. That's just one area where the creditors' committee will receive confidential info that must remain secret.

Some are looking for either a scapegoat or a panacea of intellectual knowledge to plan for your future through this BK process. You will find no-one that can give definitive clarification of your end result but scapegoats are plentiful. Times have changed; BK laws have changed but prepare for the worst and hope for the best. Get your house in order “NOW” (6 months ago would have been better).

Asked? I thought the Creditors Committee had no real decision making power? Do not worry though the TWU will "approve" anything to keep the dues flowing.

Technically you're right but the Judge pays a lot of attention to what the committee says. If the committee is against something AA knows the Judge is more likely not to approve it. What usually happens, and has happened in this bankruptcy, is when the committee has objections the company will try to negotiate acceptable changes to motions and submit modified motions including the changes the committee wants to the Judge.

While we do frequently keep in touch electronically there have been no secret meetings and Larry Pike has been involved in those exchanges as well. There has been no discussion about red circling the line stations among us.
