thats funny the last ten years we have ben giving back every contract. dont even think of going to the twu.

While I am certainly no AMFA cheerleader that would be a huge mistake to switch to the TWU.

In fact there is a growing network of individuals getting ready to attempt to remove the TWU at Eagle due to our International reps behavior.

I would strongly recomend the Eagle mechs to rid of the TWU and vote AMFA in. If you don't there will be a drastic seperation if you guys keep TWU when AA mechs go AMFA.
This is nothing but a campain move by the TWU. They will fail big time at SWA.

I can't believe the TWU would try to interfere with the operation of another airline. Attempting to cause havoc with discontent is a crime. It's obvious the lawyers haven't done their homework. Southwest will sue them into oblivion.

This could be your big break. No more high priced Lee Seham. He will be traded in for Matt Lorenzi. To quote Bob and Doug Mckenzie ( Strange Brew ) " Lawyers are for sucks"? Matt just plain sucks 😀

This the TWU's responce to the mechanics here at AA attempting to remove the TWU..

IBT & TWU industrial unions working together in an attempt to rid the airline industry of the union which represents Aircraft Maintenance/Facilities/Automotive mechanics.

The TWU is going to organize with what platform?

"we will fight like hell"

"they can do that"

"you voted it in"

"your out of order"

"live to fight another day"

"lets not piss the company off"

"we will ge them next time".............

The TWU has a horrible track record and we are at the bottom of the industry again, how do you sell that?

I know .........you can't

TWU wants to replace AMFA at Southwest Airlines

We’ve talked to both TWU and AMFA officials, and there appears to be no love lost.

They’re really not doing their job for their membership. They’re shrinking. They don’t have any support from the AFL-CIO. They’re not looked on favorably in the industry, and there’s some tough roads there with Southwest negotiations.”

Frank McCann, TWU organizing director

So Frank why don't you explain to us here at AA why you put down AMFA because there is No Support from the AFL-CIO, When the Teamsters as well are not affiliated with the AFL-CIO and are as well attempting to replace the TWU? Does the mighty TWU consider the IBT a threat or is it that your in bed with them as well as AA.

“We have a good track record on the property. We have the size of organization where we have the resources to put into negotiations. We’re an organization that believes in the in-sourcing rather than the out-sourcing of aircraft maintenance.”

Bobby Gless, deputy director for TWU air transport division.

So Bobby with all the TWU resources you could not keep AA from getting rid of AFW. So how do you expect to help the mechanics of SWA when you can't even help the membership you already represent? Explain that? Tell us what work you have brought in lately to say jobs at AA? So explain your in-sourcing????

“I don’t see any threat to TWU.”

McCann, speaking about AMFA’s efforts to organize mechanics at American Airlines

“AMFA for all practical purposes is done.”

McCann, speaking of AMFA’s future

Frank if AMFA is done and NO Threat to the TWU then why don't you have much to say about the Teamsters? We have not seen to much here on the line that you (TWU) has done much to fend off the advances of the IBT, WHY?

Lets just see how many cards the TWU will get signed. That will speak volumes for the TWU. I bet less than 200. The Teamsters could not even get 200 for a run off election.
If AMFA is finished then why is the TWU and IBT feeling so threatened?
I see a filing coming soon at American. This is pure desperation on the TWU's part.
Attack others but nothing to stand up for on your own merits.
Again I am ROLMFAO.
