Agree, but read the fine print on the A++ approval. Lots of carve-outs where they can't use ATI, mainly US-Europe and US-Canada routes where only CO and one of the other A++ partners operate i.e. CLE-YYZ and IAH-YYC.

Not deal breakers in my opinion, but I'd be shocked if there weren't similar restrictions for AA/IB/BA on US-MAD, DFW-LHR, and a few other routes where only AA and either IB or BA operated.

Agreed, I think there will be some exceptions from the immunity and that's probably a healthy thing in circumstances like you mention.

What I can't see if a blanket denial with any kind of straight face on the part of the feds...
