Representatives and advocates for the Chinese community today announced some optimism that a new California law which bans the possession and sale of shark fins will be struck down as unconstitutional

In reality, shark fin harvesting is pretty brutal as they cut the fins off the shark and throw them overboard alive and unable to swim (fin thingy).
Eventually they drown.
Least that should be done is to harvest the whole shark meat.
Call it Shoulda or something.
Ground it up and put it in cat food or something.
Make a slime out of it and put it in fried fish nuggets... LOL

Funny you mention that. Shark meat is sold under several names and I'd bet anyone who bought fish has eaten it.
