For those who drank the IBT Kool-Aid, live with it. You made your bed now sleep in it.
For those who didn't it really shows the company we can't make up our mind on a union.
Unions have lost all power. The government will stop any action a union tries to do. Strike?
The company would love a strike right now. NWA all over again. The mighty IBT has no
power to stop it. Maybe Hoffa senior would but Hoffa junior is just a puppet.
Funny how our business rep was seen driving a $50k new truck and loading his tools in it
one evening. No more dirty finger nails for him.
A renegade strike throughout the industry is probably the only thing the execs would understand.
All unionized American airline workers walk till Obama steps in one way or the other. He put the
Bankers in their place why not the airline CEO's? The safety of the flying public has gone to 3rd
world countries. Since the gov always controls airline negotiations how about taking the side of
the proud workers that built the company. Not some hired gun brought in to kill it and fill his pockets.
It's really sad when the low person on the seniority list has about 20 years. When they run out of licensed
AMT's they will just hand a license over to someone with 6 months training in India that will work for
minimum wage.
The IAM did nothing for the mechanics at UAL before. AMFA never had a chance and lost all respect and size
after the NWA strike. Now we will be save by the same union that brought us ESOP.
TOO LATE!!!!
