Not bitter just interested and always amuzed at what UAL management will come up with next. Mrfish will sit in the back ground and watch UniTED continue it's inward implosion. As Frontier continues to grow and prosper with UniTEDs downsizing or possible demise. B)

Talked to my manager, looks like they are posturing amongst themselves to divy the work up under OSV companies RAN by current UAL managers. United will have skeleton line maint and thats about all. I hope they bust it, pick who they want, and I'm crossing if the job is offered. I've had enough of you f*ckers. If the money is good enough and there's a spot, I'll stay. Bitter party of one, your table is now ready. It would seem to me you got s**t canned from UAL and that's why you're so bitter towards them.

Frontier is a "fly by night" operation and is going to be gone in a matter of time. UAL is killing them in DEN and they're barely hanging on.

The way I read it, most of this will happen over time through attrition. Possibly they will cut some of the small stations that are not producing and give them to the express carriers.
The story stated it would not be in one move. Ted is safe right now.

atabuy***I think you hit the nail on the head****a recent "rumor" had COS as the first small station to be converted to united express****also there is "TALK" that the den hub could be converted into a RJ hub**********and TED, indeed could be subtracted out***though not in the immediate future********I, repeat this is only water cooler talk***and should not be construed as actual fact****

If the rank and file don't have the balls to stand up NOW and represent what a union stands for....what do you think? "We need to sit down and talk" my f*cking ass....you got one card to play and only one card. It's for ALL the marbles but you know what....union ain't got no juice because the membership won't back each other. So what SHOULD I DO....watch you guys "bleed" off everything we have. BTW....I just had file my quaterly taxes and I'm working at the shop most of the weekend to catch up. 401k is maxed for the year, Roth is fully funded too. I own EVERYTHING I have, and my greatest obligation besides living expenses is my cell phone. People say that affords me the luxury of being the way I am....I reply it was hard work that affords me that luxury. If you've worked that hard to get somewhere...ISN"T IT WORTH FIGHTING FOR!!!!
