US Airways Group Inc. has posted a 3.4 percent increase in the number of full-time employees, according to the U.S. Department of Transportation.
The carrier, which operates its largest hub at Charlotte/Douglas International Airport, employed 32,799 full-time workers in November. That's up from 31,718 in November 2006.
The department counts two part-time employees as one full-time worker.
Arizona-based US Airways (NYSE:LCC) operates 3,800 flights per day to more than 230 destinations in the United States, Canada, Europe, Caribbean and Latin America.
