US Airways' daily losses could double or triple as travel slows because of the normal autumn downturn and hurricane disruption at key Florida locations, says airline consultant Robert Mann.

Love this part. Guess the downturn in travel has NOTHING to do with the mouth of the south talking about liquidating before the holidays? I've had to quell the fears of several travelers that we were still going to be here for their holiday flights. The only reason they DID book on US is because they had vouchers they had to use otherwise I'm sure they would have booked on someone else. The company needs some good PR spin on things right now if they are going to keep butts in the seats and INCREASE revenue for the next few months. But I'm sure this is all going to be someone elses fault in the end.
