US Airways Sets Utilization Rate Record

Just goes to show that no matter how bad the service, as long as you're a nickel cheaper than the next guy you can attract customers.

P. T. Barnum (or whoeever really said it) was right. There indeed IS a sucker born every minute.

How's RASM looking? I know that I've seen some low fares out there from them, and my uncle was u/ged for $10 on ORD-PHL the other day.

As mentioned in this thread on the same subject:

US Airways President Scott Kirby said, "Our year-over-year passenger revenue per available seat mile (PRASM) has gotten progressively better during the second quarter, and we ended the month of June with consolidated PRASM (mainline and Express) up slightly over June 2006. Looking forward, we see an encouraging revenue environment moving into the third quarter due, in part, to stronger year-over-year bookings and improving yield trends."
