Does anyone know the reason for the sudden interest in Asheville? U is starting 2 flights a day to LGA in Feb and now looking for 2 a day to DCA. Does not seem that there is that much traffic. CO has two a day to EWR already. GSP which is less than55 miles away from AVL has numerous flights to DCA/LGA/and EWR

Clue is absolutely on the money. Dave ain't getting sfo, he is absolutely dreaming. And the fact that these boys just publicly announced they are considering asset sales, why in the world would the FAA consider their request. I am sure they would much rather give those slots to a more viable operation.

And to top it off his favorite senators from the state of PA ain't going to be lobbying for good ole honest Dave.

US has to at least apply. They know it's a long shot, but people here would be screaming bloody murder if management did not at least apply to serve the routes.
