Great. Now we have two LOA93ers working 20 days a month for 80-something an hour inferring how great their jobs are... You guys certainly are unusual!
Unusual?

hmmm..

Paris, Madrid, Frankfurt, Rome, London, ....so many cities..so little time...

How's MCI ?

Hey Mach/Elixir, I will do my best to answer your question. I'm not sure it is exactly accurate but it is the way I understand it. AWAPPA was formed to protect the nic award and nothing else but has become a avenue to stay informed with web boards. AOL was formed prior to the vote to have possible litagation with ALPA for not representing the west group should they give in to all the squeaky wheels back east and not present the nic list to the company. The two groups are not having a pissing match as I see it just a diff of opinions on how to proceed. I hope this is fairly accurate and answered your question.
Well, thank you for stepping up to a simple question.

I don't know who you are, but your stock just went up a few points.

Im confused by the name-blending for me...Elixir is gone..what are you trying to prove here?

that you "know me?"

( I don't give two Shirts who knows me...)

Either way....thanks for having the nads to answer a simple and honest question.

(I like you already.)

Got it, LEO...

thanks.

(I hope someday we can lay all this on Parker, instead of each other.)

I can't speak for everyone, but MCI is excellent!! We all stay at a nice downtown hotel that is close to shopping and various food selections (Tanners! Thursday special....11oz. KC Strip w/ baked potato for less than $12!!). The nicest people are from the mid-west, and prove it everytime I visit there. A couple hours back to PHX, and then on to home!! Europe sounds nice, but I prefer to sleep when it's dark outside !!

That sounds reasonable to me. Most all midwesterners I've ever had the pleasure to meet seemed good folks to me as well. ...and I can't argue with a good steak on any day. Pond hopping certainly has it's destination delights, but one really needs a good tolerance for being stuck in a plane for many hours. I suppose there's always trade offs for most everything.

Sir...if you are adressing me...I'll say this:

"low-brow is, as low-brow does..."

That article is crap.

Bring a real media outlet into the picture, with full disclosure and historical perspective from BOTH sides....

until then?

phfftttt.

I guess that would eliminate Ted Reed and his sloppy "journalism" at TheStreet.

On another note, I see the pilots are now to the point of sizing up their layovers.

When will you all move on from comparing cities to more constructive things like "My employee parking lot is better than yours?"

I defend Mr Colodny as an excellent airline Ceo of his time.

Was buying PSA an excellent decision?

Was putting Seth Scofield in charge of the company instead of Gordon Bethune an excellent decision?

Was buying F 100s an excellent decision?

>...And...the honors for current points leader for utter banality and mindless lusting for bile and distress (drum roll) goes to ...take a guess... 🙄
Apparently..you've no shortage of empty spaces in your parking lot. Take heart though..it's likely just a break in the action here..and thusly; you needn't rush into getting any semblance of a life.....

..... says the person with just under 3000 posts in 487 days

I would actually like to see you guys start working together. After all I believe most employees on each side of your "Maginot Line" would rather keep their jobs with a healthy and successful merged airline. If, however, the US Aviation forums are a true representation of the pilot group at LCC then unity amongst the pilots seems to be doomed.

An article from the PHX NEW TIMES? ah hahahahahahahahahahaha :mf_boff: they most likely got 98% of their story from this message board .... as far as news papers go , they are the equlivlant of MESA ....

I wasn't two paragraphs into that article when I figured it must be from one of those free papers that the homeless hawk on street corners in San Francisco, or outside the "T" stations in Boston.

When a so-called journalist doesn't take the trouble to nail down even the most basic fact -- the correct spelling of the name of a person being quoted several times in the article -- one has to wonder how much fact-finding he or she actually did on the story.

Although it's pronounced "Gen -TILL -y", Arnie spells his last name "Gentile". (I wonder how she would spell the name of somebody whose name is pronounced "Dice-K" or "Yow".)

Anyway, I think when Miss Sarah's unpaid internship at that rag is done, she may want to text Mom and Dad and tell them that she should change her major next semester at ASU.

Journalism does not appear to be her calling...

Aww … don’t worry about her , I’m sure she’ll just go back stripping and be OK …. If you’d like to meet or talk to her , I’m sure she has her number posted somewhere in the paper , probably in one of the many adult advertisements in the back somewhere …

It's really good...how's flying to ELP for you?

And, yes, I do edit...especially on days where nobody will answer the questions...it's so much more fun.

I like the big planes (maybe you will too)..long trips, long layovers...
but....

I hear TUS is good this time of year.
(for accuracy sake...I'm still in my 40's..thanks)

hmmm

left seat to TUS
right seat to CDG

Hey Mach,

I guess upgrading for you will really suck then eh?

Just trying to add a little humor.

I am not certain what "a former stripper?" has to do with one-sided "journalism". Does that mean Bob Novak was once a stripper? Judy Miller? Peggy Noonan or Chris Mathews?

I'm surprised no one has commented on what happened yesterday! Shouldn't be long now...
