Ahhh...Remember the days before USAviation Forums? Many use to post on U's Yahoo's Financial Web Page without being edited by monitors. Strong Buy recommendations being posted!

I think you read it wrong. The scale is 1.0-5.0 with 1.0 being a strong buy, and 5.0 a strong sell. US Airways came in at 4.0 which means it's pretty close to a strong sell.

FM is noting the message board page which includes many posts from folks whose listed stock sentiment is "Strong Buy"

The analyst coverage as noted by CaptBud gives a rating of 4.0 - courtesy of the two investment houses that are proffering ratings on UAIR. One rates a hold - a "3". The other rates a strong sell - a "5".

The time to buy was yesterday, before today's big runup. Buying today only helps lock in the gains for the early birds.
