Usaair Mec Is Meeting In Kphx

One thing that is often overlooked is the fact that in the next 5 to 7 years, over 2/3 of USAir's pilots retire. That's a HUGE movement for those left. Personally, I'm 51 and on a medical leave, in the top 900 at U and don't care if I ever go back. Even if I get my medical back, I'll most likely pass. It's just not the same job anymore.....

The f/as at U will also retire. By the end of Dec, 977 f/as will be gone. All above 15 years, and that's not counting any a/c that goes back to the lessors which may induce another VFLR.

LO11Ret,
Tell us. How as it different, same with the Osark ALPA/TWA ALPA merg. vs TWA/AA? I could be wrong, but at that time, wasn't ALPA merg. DOH? I think I'm right, what did the TWA pilots do to the OSARK pilots?

Say what you want.. Thats your right..

US Airways ALPA pilots have shown their cards every single time.. They think of themselves first and thats it.

I never said they would not honor an arbiters ruling.. I said they would whine and cry about it if it did not go in their favor.

My statement to the AWA people stands.. Your interests are not the interests of the US pilot group... That also goes for the IAM, AFA and CWA..

All you need to do is read.. Doug Parker has said he would like it to be fair for everyone however if its not fair oh well.

It is a biter pill.. This is the AWA board and everyone is free to express their opinions.. Don't like it, don't read it.

And I can't spoil the air and the water where I am now, I had to get away from the spoiled air and water so I could return to normal.. Ask anyone that has left. Your so twisted and rotted you can't see the forest because the trees are in the way.. FOOL.

just,

You were never a pilot, worry the IAM and your issues. Pilots do not have a choice to honor an arbitrators award, fool.

You do not work here anymore, go spoil the air and water elsewhere you sad man....

And stop telling lies in an attempt to stir the pot.

I think it is great to hear such from you justa...

It means you are scared it will work, and now see fit to toss out poisionous posts meant to try to screw things up.

Worried that the combo of US/HP driving your new employer under...? No, that;s not it, is it big guy...?

No, what you are worried about is watching this place turn itself around... Remolding itself (in some Continental-esqe fashion) from a place that you could not wait to get away from, into a place you wished you still worked at...

I understand that with your track record of being proven wrong about this place time and time again that the prospect of things working out must keep you awake at night, face long from frowning, and your pillow damp from remorseful tears...

Poor sad, bitter, and depressed Justsa. We all should kinda feel sorry for you I guess. 🙁

Hopefully you will figure out sooner than later than naysaying, and now inciting flame wars is heading the wrong direction from becoming "jastahappymechanic".

Good Luck anyways, here's hoping you find your "happy place" on the inside big fella... 😀

Take care, we are all pulling for ya...!

Man, I continue to be surprised just how handy that pysch minor I had in college turned out to be later on in life for messing with people...

OZ pilots received DOH as did OZ F/As. There were some fences put on OZ pilots for a period of five years to keep them off 1011 and 747.
