AAR went to IND because the facility was updated. Yet they didn't go to OAK or MCI, and there were just as many skilled workers available.

Companies go to China and India because regulations aren't as stifling. That lower cost overhead allows them to be able to afford training people ab inito to do the jobs.

Try opening up a MRO here in the states. By the time you get thru all the OSHA, EPA, and FAA regs, you've hired an army of lawyers before you hire the first AMT.

The local news said V2 taxes weren't even designated 100% to projects. They still don't know what they are going to do with it all. They made presentations to the public for suggestions. To vote yes and have no idea how taxes will be distributed is not wise in my opinion.

After reading the article I can't say whether I'd vote yes or no, I would need to research it more; however, I take issue with your stance of not approving any taxes on yourself. Do you feel that you should be able to live in a community and not shoulder any burden for improving it?

I pay State and Federal income tax, SS and Medicare tax, Property tax,sales tax, fees to register my vehicles and renew licenses, Taxes and fees on everything from utilities to cable as well as Taxes on earnings on investments..

I believe we all as taxpayers shoulder plenty of burden, my problem is with the people who are in charge of dispensing the funds.

If you think that voting for the right will lower your taxes, you are sadly mistaken. The savings that the cuts create are already earmarked for someone well above your pay grade
