vote count for twu?

I wish all the No Voters the best of luck on the results as I have many friends at AA that voted NO...I also am hopeful that the TWU will finally be ousted and the AA employees elect a true UNION that works together as a team.

Yes! One way or another...Today's the day we begin the process of ridding ourselves of the TWU!

The Dallas reporter that's been in the courtroom tweeted this yesterday:
@JasonWhitely: Big development Tues. will be whether the TWU ground wrkrs, mechanics accept or reject AA's final offer. Results due at 8:30am-ish on Tues.

One way or another....things change for us today for better or for worse!

Good luck to all!

Regardless of the outcome, one would have to wonder. Why was the membership required to go through such a stressful and divisive process?

There was no T/A between AA and our negotiators, there was no agreement that the leadership could take a position on.

This was nothing more than unreasonable amount of stress and a division of the house that will continue regardless of the vote count.

The fact is that to keep doing overhaul maintenance a business plan that matches any other viable plan of a company wanting to stay in business must be adopted. That would be a plan to reduce headcount as required, paying those that are left a decent pay and benefit package, along with demanding compliance with standards of production, safety, and attendance.

Which of course is exactly opposite of the concessions for jobs approach the TWU is promoting, along with 6 more years of zero accountability in both management and union workers.

You want to save jobs? Then stop destroying the profession and the overhaul base. This Union's approach is going to destroy the Tulsa base and lose all of the jobs, not save them! Name one business that stays in business that allows the union agenda to trump the well known business model required for success?

Some here in TUL are attempting to change their vote or even vote, but cannot get a hold of anyone by phone 8172822544 or by internet to obtain a Activation Code

BallotPoint Election Services
The BallotPoint Guarantee

We are confident that when utilized properly the BallotPoint voting system fully complies with Title IV of the LMRDA.
For this reason, we guarantee our clients that if there is an election challenge to the BallotPoint system and if, after investigation, the Department of Labor concludes that the election must be rerun due to a finding that the BallotPoint system did not comply with Title IV, we will remedy the situation and rerun the election under the supervision of the Department of Labor at no additional cost to the union.

The design of BallotPoint ensures voter secrecy. BallotPoint comprises two secure computer systems that physically reside in separate facilities. A specially designed software protocol restricts the transfer of any information between the two systems that could potentially link a voter to his or her vote.
The two computer systems are the MRNS (Member Registration and Notification Server) and the ES (Election Server).
Simply put, the MRNS houses member-identifying information (public member ID, name, address, etc) and the ES houses election-specific information (election questions and answers, member login- credentials, and votes).
Due to the physical and logical separation of the two systems, there is no method available for someone, including BallotPoint personnel, to link member-identifying information to votes.

One would imagine that an electronically based election process would have an ongoing tally...

The results should've been available 12:01 this AM...
But i am sure there are requirements to verify before announcing the results!

Bob Owens......Did they give any time frame?

We have a conference call at 10am EST. My guess it will be out around the same time.

Pretty sad you guys have to get the time of announcement from the media and not the union.
