On the chance you've not been keeping up with current events, the capacity does not exist for AMR/AA to immediately farm out its maintenance. It's going to take time for vendors to ramp up to the scope of the operation before that can happen.

Where's my supposed "humor"? I stated a fact - you really need a refresher course in the language so your comprehension skills are better than what the company thinks of you and thousands more.

FYI, if the company cuts as deeply as they are threatening, I'm gone too. Job interview tomorrow - FUGM.

Strake you seem to have no problem with MRO wages,which is what AA was offering for next 6 years
They are hiring all over the USA,have at it.I've lived in 4 states while working in this profession,missed a lot of my kids younger years growing up and worked a lot of holidays and midnights.The only thing I had going for myself was good pay and benefits.Most of that is gone and they want more!!! NO !
