WARN Letter

Has anyone at DFW seen this letter? I asked at the line but no one seemed to know what I was talking about. Someone brought up that we are supposed to have "job protection" with this "contract" we have.
The DFW twu bootlickers local 565 are to busy kissing managements ass to post letters about impending layoffs. I'll get them out there today.

As far as job security, local 565 is not telling its membership is that the twu lost that case.

And the force majeure...lost that one to. Good read, see how the twu never negotiated the 1983 contract, they let the company handle that part.

Finally here's a link that I'm sure the TWAers will enjoy, especially the TWA dispatchers who have 4/10/01 seniority.

<_< Intresting stuff AMFAman--- So if TWA would have been TWU, and not IAM, Little is saying there would have been a good chance we would have been "dovetailed"! Right! 😉

Yes, but why wasn't it the case for the TWA twu dispatchers who got 4/10/01?

Interesting....

Nobody in Tulsa has seen or even been told about a WARN LETTER in the system.

Talk about keeping the Mushrooms in the Dark and feeding them ####.

<_< GOOD QUESTION!!!! Maybe there is someone out there listening!!!!! A lawyer maybe???

I was at the first meeting regarding the Integration.

While there was no real definative conclusion from the meeting, the President from the dispatchers local, I cant recall his name, did stress the fact that the TWA dispatchers were TWU and should be given full seniority however I believe it was Burchette who objected because if they gave it to them then they would have to give it to everyone else.

Well thats what they did with AIRCAL. When they bought Aircal I went down in system seniority, thats where Connely came from. Now he is the appointed AA system co-ordinator. So when you have him visit confront him on the hypocrisy where he has all his seniority from Aircal while guys who have more time as a union member than him have less.

I was told AIRCAL FSC's have an employy number that begins with "10". Like aa emp # 102345 and # 105937. Is that correct?

<_< Maybe! All exTWAers have a number starting with a 6! Ex: 684327. Just an easy way for them to track us! Discriminatory? You bet!!!!

Not true, there are many nAAtives with the "6" series numbers. You might have a better argument if you went with the first two numbers. <_<

Under the Federal law requiring them, WARN letters only have to be sent to those who "might" be in danger of being laid off. For instance, when I was furloughed the 5000 most junior f/as active at that time got WARN letters, but only about 3000 of us were eventually furloughed.

Maybe no one in TULSA will be "under the gun" this time.

Know this;

Wallstreet loves Layoffs and cost cutting. Period

This is a ploy and only a ploy to gain favor with the "Street", this is a blanket statement in effort to inflate and raise the stock price in the short term.

Uhhhh say around the April Option Maturity Date. ;p)

Come on! It isn't that difficult if you just think like a "Fat Cat"
