West Tech Ops

Being lied to is a whole different ballgame.
I have been playing this ball game my whole working life with this airline I just expect it now and plan that the company will lie to get what they want this is the way it is and business especially in the airline business. When it comes to unions/company negotiating is all about spin (aka) lies. You EricLv2Fish have a lot to learn in the real American world of business. The company is trying to break solidarity with its union and members Al H. at its best

There are companies that value their workers. I think I'm working for one of them now. I learned enough to make the decision to flyaway from the current situation in tech-ops. These non-represented folks were in a neutral position prior to the merger and weren't a threat to the sandcastle. Now they've been forced to take sides and have drawn attention most in tech-ops really didn't want. Some still have their heads in the sand hoping it will go away. It won't. Now that they have been drawn into the battle they better get their battle gear on and support the IAM.

YEP! US will leave a bad taste in your mouth

The will only get worse if you are a east mechanic. Just watch how our "snap back" grievance gets
negociated away during the transition negociations.

The agents negotiated away (change of control) during the CWA transition agreement just to bring HP under CWA,s contract and kept another union vote from happening

Bring 'em on. Exposing people who act unethically is a pleasure. B) Sooner or later they will get what they deserve.
You and I have agreed on this subject quite a few times. Bringing this up in this forum is not "exposing" unethical people, it is adding one more dead horse to the team of dead horses in hopes of moving faster: ain't gonna happen! The news media doesn't care, the union can't do squat about it and the company continues to be unethical in this incident. Is it fair? No! Does it create ill will between the employee and the company? Unequivocally! Will it change? No! The secret to winning battles is to choose the right one. At this particular time, this one isn't it. Wait until the "company" wants something you provide.

Wow, you were so pro co. at one time. The east has infected the west, it seems. It splattered PI.
The Al's that hate! (Crellin, Hemenway) I just loath giving them credit for winning. It just sucks that they are ok with who they are. Presumably.
Hell is not that far away for them.

I think this is the right one. It's the first shot fired at the at-will tech ops folks who will be creted. Let them think they have snowed them with a big lie and the lies will keep coming. Roll over now and keep rolling. Victory could be measured in terms of putting the sandcastle on notice that the tech-ops folks didn't buy the lie. I mean really, have the guts to say "We don't feel like giving you the merit increase because we don't know the outcome of the transition agreement yet", or something to that effect.

The best case scenario would be for them to get the merit increase, but at minimum put them on notice their unethical behavior can't hide.
