At 1135 miles, it definitely is within the perimeter. WN filed for the reasons already given. No its not within the perimeter
They're coming from language inserted in the FAA reauthorization bill allowing 16 slots (8 pairs) to be converted from within perimeter DCA-hub to beyond perimeter slots.Where are these slots coming from? I also don't recall ever hearing about an application process.
Anyone else think it might be SJU.
(or just be plain stupid, who knows)
US Airways is set to get 1 new long distance flt from DCA so where should it use that route? United and Virgin are going to fly to SFO. American to LAX and SW to MCI for 1. Alaska, JB, Spirt, Republic and others have not recieved a new slot yet or announced where they would fly if they recieve a slot..
I doubt you will disappointed on that score. Awaiting the Tempe Brain Trust pick.....
I Say... LAX.... I think that Alaska already flies to SEA from DCA.... not sure???
