Of course! And for the record, although it's just my opinion, I don't think "merger mania" is over. I think it will happen someday, and I hope the "partners" make good sense-for all of our sakes. I still would like to see: US/UA, DL/CO, and AA/NW. Now, that would be awesome!!![]()

Good thing,too.......Very interesting.... Last night I dreamed that Doug Parker announced that since the DL deal was dead, he would return the multi-billons $$$ back into US: return US back to the way things were pre-9/11 and pre-BKs by adding to the fleet and increase routes; re-hire all furloughees; give back pensions; give back holiday and vacation lost in concessions; and give all employees a 40% pay raise. Then I woke up!!!![]()
How about US and F9? But then again the loyal F9 passengers would then be disappointed, less leg room and NO more DirecTV!Don't be surprised if UA and DL combine after DL emerges from BK.
Now wouldn't that burn a certain Airbus Captain's butt... To have both the airlines he lusted after (the ones with the BIG airplanes) combine and put his beloved domestic carrier at a competitive disadvantage? 😉
Anyway, it's all just speculation. Should be an interesting year for all.
For the record, I'd prefer a hitch between UA and CO. But DL is not out of the question.
