Hey, DoUgIe said that the hubs would have Town Halls twice a year, one apiece Winter and Summer. He managed to skip PIT this Winter, so it's only par for the course that he skips PHL, too. And PHL is supposedly our most important station, so such an oversight is more an overslight than anything else.

This is the guy who supposedly hid in the Envoy lounge waiting to go to Italy, so I guess he's sort of been there in PHL for a Winter session. He just wasn't willing to take questions.

What a shame,I figured he would like a tour of the ramp about midnight after things calm down,or maybe that great afternoon bank so he can watch the traffic.

You know, the whole "we don't wear ties to work" silliness was something the cheerleaders used to love to tout when posting on this board. I wonder what they think of their "business casual" product now.

Again, the townhalls are done in the CLT and PHX training centers because of the ability to meet with employees from all bases/stations as they come in for training.

Another good reason for Doug to make a visit to Phl.....There are not many people who are actually from the area but are there due to being displaced from other stations. The business of running crashpads is booming in Philly!!! 😉

Nothing to be afraid of in PHL...we'll take care of ya.

Best thing Mr Parker could do is show up unannounced in PHL with a VERY small entourage and just walk through the place.

Then he should visit the office of the guy who wrote the "Slug" memo and fire him ala Donald Trump and then find his boss and fire him for not firing Mr Slug Memo.

From my understanding Mr Lakefield used to just "Show up" and talk to employees with little or no fanfare. That comes off better IMO if you're trying to win hearts and minds and convey a specific message.

I personally think a town hall in PHL now can only go badly and hurt the whole company. Venting is good but creating a lynch mob is not.
