I'm going to tell you a little story that will disgust you and I hope prove, once and for all, what we have been saying for two years. CANALE MUST GO. I might not have all the facts right because this just happened within the last two days and I got a call from my eyes in ORD.
Is M.T. Suit afraid? You betcha! Nominations for Stephan R. Canale's job begin next week and go through the month of February. Randy Canale is so afraid of the New Direction Slate that he has resorted to the famous bully tactics that his followers employ so well on his behalf. Canale has ordered Assistant General Chairperson Rich Delaney to stop representing the membership immediately and go spend the entire month in Atlanta to work on organizing Delta employees. Pam King has been working on that for what 8 years and no luck? But now all of a sudden it is vitally important that Delaney drop all his cases and work and go to Atlanta for the whole month of February. Why was there not a pressing need to send the only AGC who handles arbitration cases to Atlanta in January, March or last year even? Gee Randy no one will see through that. Rich Delaney had four cases scheduled for arbitration regarding discharged members. He also has 3 other discharged members' 3rd step hearings scheduled next month. But out of work members with families to feed mean nothing to the Bored Member Canale. Only his agenda matters and god forbid if anyone chooses to exercise their constitutional right to run for office. So screw the members; off to Atlanta with anyone who fails to kiss the ass of this 64 year old playground punk!

Sacrifice any member, violate any members' rights to a speedy hearing, spend any amount of money, just get the old man nominated. No wonder Canale is known as M.T. suit.

Shameful and disgusting. Get to your lodge in February and tell this thug "Enough Is Enough"

We are watching and listening in Phoenix. We pretty much see the embedded leadership of IAM. AWA never knew the "good ole boy" mentality because we are juniors.
Looks like there is a push! to replace the old MOB! with guys and gals who studied union organization.

Any way welcome back. I'm going to do everything I can to get this

BTW Mr. Brickner. Your state of the union speech in the Messenger was
excellent. You artifully spoke of who the real enemy is: The current
admiistration and its freindliness to corporate America. You quite
rightflully put the blame on anyone but you. You were also smart to
claim that 65% of US Fleet service were blindly followeing the antics
of disgruntled "hucksters". Thank you for pointing to the need for solidarity.
But not if that solidarity wants you and all your cronies out. Thank you
for showing us the folly in seeking better representation. No competion
means a strong union right?

But most of all I would like to that you for making a deal with your
enemy Parker by ignoring sec 6 negotiations. Now I think I know
who the "hucksters" are but I would like you to publically state thier
names and please include mine [John Lyon] because if I had thier
courage and experience I would like to think I was in thier class

Since when has Randy ever gave a rip about any member, name me just one? Didn't the 3 previous District Chairmen NEVER include Randy on ANY negotiations because he was always taking managements side in the 141 Eboard meetings?

You know I dont know what you guys have been reading about the upcomming mergers but everything I keep reading is USAirways is going to be on the outside looking in.
So for those of you who think the company needs a T/A for a new merger might want to rethink.
Read my lips We have no leverage. We lost the opertunity for any kind of gains back when we turned down the last T/A. We dont have a whole lot to give as an airline that anybody wants.
I try to read about this as much as I can from people who know and understand the industry.
So go ahead keep dreaming about sticking this out and staying together becasue all your going to get is more disapointment. Its been 2 1/2 years guys its time to move on.
