It wouldn't surprise me...w/ the F/A agreement, they aren't making even the 30 bucks they used to on ID 90 but carrying a bunch of our employees for free with gas around 100 bucks a barrel. However, I agree with Prince, what better way to get to US than by cutting flights that allow their employees to get to work.....if this is true, I wonder if the those in Tempe will be smart enough to realize and put on more main line flights to compensate. Doubt it.

Are you KIDDING me?
Yeah, executives are sitting in Tempe and even Dallas making fleet and capacity decisions based on some old USAir trolly dollies going to work. You must be out of your mind.
Listen, this company, nor any other, gives a flying you-know-what whether or not you get to work. US Airways will staff their flights regardless, whether it's with you, me, a furloughee, or a new hire. In fact, given the option, they'd prefer the latter two. As`long as something with a pulse is there to satisfy FAA minimums they are good to go. Do yourself a favor and don't adopt the attitude that you are doing the company a favor embarking on a risky commute.
You might be joking, but there are F/As who go to Crew News sessions and tell our CEO they need to 'put bigger planes on PIT-PHL'... so non-revs can get on... hello! The fact that any flight attendant thinks they are important enough to make business decisions around is simply mind-blowing.
