Work by the Book?

"By the book" has become a code word for an illegal work slowdown. That's why the TWU guy said don't do it. It will hurt us far more in the long run if we get hit with penalties. By the book sounds nice and ethical, but it is really just a code name for illegal work stoppage!

It's a code word for protecting our A&P!

So, "by the book" sounds nice and ethical only when the AA CASS audit team or FAA come around???? Is it illegal then????

Question - has anyone forwarded Gless's letter to the FAA? I'm sure they'd really get off on a union trying to help out the company in that manner.
