WORK SAFE,,,WORK SMART

You know your right , safety first . To be honest with you , I have to admit I’m one to sometimes ignore the safety rules in order to get the job done fast … I’m starting to wonder if I should change my ways and work by the safety guidelines … However I’m not going to give it more thought until after the 3 day meeting on the 21st . . I guess what I’m saying is if this company doesn’t care about me , then I will have to make sure that my number one priority at work is me and then everything else second .

Hey Freedom...
I enjoy reading your posts, you're very opinionated and I share many of your thoughts on things affecting our work group. Let me tell you if you aren't sure about this yet... the company DOES NOT care about you as an individual or US as a workgroup. We are bottom feeders and the company knows this. The company has hired us to perform a job, they give us marginal resources to get this job done, and it is the improvising by certain motivated co-workers that take the initiative to cut-corners here and there and risk my safety, your safety, and everyone else's in their path. Are we getting anything out of it, nope... We aren't paid enough to take initiatve or be proactive, we are just numbers to the corporate scum that runs this operation, unfortunately. Like it or not, we aren't doing favors here for anybody. If this airline is comfortable with mediocrity, than that is what they will always have... until they pay people what they are worth and the morale improves, this will always be an issue. Just my .02.
Hang in there, let's hope our patience pays off this time....

O.K. Let the games begin. Safety first. OH YEAH! Who goes first? It's in our hands. Best of the new year to everyone.

]Crap that was my halloween costume...I must have sent them to you on accident........I was going to be an airplane because I love airplanes, but I needed them so everyone would know what kind I was

HA!! HAHA!! I joke!!

Hmm...You and Orange Tape...oh brother I think we figured out all these "MTC" delays...someone's been removing the MEL stickers and tapes...

Hmm...are they still auditioning? I mean I played a big part in the Stephen King book/movie "The Langoliers"...I'd just eat the scampering bastas.

Alot of humor here, but the ramp is a very dangerous workplace. Add some knuckle heads
who love the company and cut corners to get the job done faster and you have a ripe environment
for injury and even death. Call DCA and ask them how many a/c and emp. they lost in 07.
Ask for the pics of the 300 tthat couldn't be move from the gate because it was so badly damaged from a belt loader hit, driven by an emp new hire.
Remember work safe and live another day.

The ramp is a very dangerour place to work. The safety rules are there to protect me and my brothers and sisters. When you do not follow the rules you not only jeopardize your LIFE but mine and everyone else around you.
Think about everyone around you. There are a lot of things in life that can be fixed. Often times it is not possible to fix STUPID.

DO NOT BE STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!
