Xmas Cancellations

From the Pittsburgh paper:

"Hundreds of US Airways employees called in sick yesterday and today...100 flights were canceled across US Airways' system yesterday, many of them due to crew shortages."

From what I read on another board, UAL had 75 cancellations due to crew shortages on xmas eve.

There were a bunch of cancelations at IAD on the night of the 23rd too.
