I have more pride being an AMT for AA, then being an association member.

AA tried giving us raises in 2008,2010, and now, but every time the union or association has stopped it because some group within the union didn't get exactly what they wanted.
And that is what you get with this pathetic asso, called the representational union that represents you guys because they are a full blown fleet union, bakers union, train operators union, bus union... You name it! You guys need a freakin class and craft union for "Aircraft Mechanics".
 
I spoke with a fleet person on the employee bus, he says we should hold out for more! He also said that most of the fleet people feel the same way.
You guys better hold out for more. AA is only wanting to "MATCH" SWA pay, so not industry leading as they say, in pay. Plus they are wanting to outsource way too much to help pay for that pay. Hold out for higher pay than us at SWA, hold out for 65 per hour for the industry leady contract as promised.

We are still above our ratio in the contract. However, do not believe the BS that you guys will go to the same headcount as we have if you get the SWA pay in your new contract. Just cannot happen even per the FARS. Educate yourselves a bit, and for Gods sake, quit believing this GD fiasco asso. BS!
 
Well you can maybe watch the LGA Town Hall on Jetnet tomorrow and add LGA to the list as well.
