Because SNN is only 100 miles from DUB, it does ok but it may be better to have service to a different country, AA will be pulling there SNN-ORD service in October concentrating on there DUB-ORD flight. Also U.S are finishing SNN on 6th Oct rather than the end of OCT so thats not too promising making the season even shorter

Let's face it - were it not for the Ireland-US bilateral agreement, SNN never would have gotten any intl. service from the US. With the phase-in of Open Skies, SNN might see a huge redux in service.

Well it appears US has missed out on the AC A345 opportunity. TAM has reported that they will receive the aircraft. So that's Swiss(?) A332's and AC's A345's US has missed out on. I don't know what management plans but they better have some interim aircraft to expand internationally.

Anyone know where the aircraft for their "dream" China flt will come from now?

Philadelphia-Shanghai Nonstop on US in 2008. US To fly route with a 757. Refueling stops in Edmonton, Fairbanks, and Tokyo. (US doesn't count re-fueling stops as stops.)

A 757? Whatever.

This route will fail if it has to make more than one fuel stop.

On May 30th, the 2 AC 340-500s magically reappeared for Lease with availability this September (2007). If this is correct and not some administrative error, the AC-TAM deal must not have materialized (which I have been unable to confirm) and these aircraft should still be available for US's venture into Asia and/or China.
