Nelson how's the campaign going? Looks like your former running mate is going to take a powder.

I'm backing all of the incumbent officers at District 141. They have shown true leadership and insight in leading our union. It is no secret that the inexperience of punky and the rest of the challengers will be a disaster for us and our families. I told nelson I would not let him go unchallenged again. He claims to have a master level education in contemporary cultures. He has failed to produce his thesis and degree. Why is that? He uses smoke and mirrors to hide the fact that he is unqualified to hold any office in any union. When challenged nelson writes Yaaaaaawn. Is this a type of person we want in office.

im not sure how her campaign is going but i think it went better than expected. If they lose then it certainly is something to build upon in 1.5 years.

Im not sure they are losing but if they do yhen it wasnt because of iam141.

I think we should all be proud of their reform team, regardless of outcome, as it really engaged democracy and our constitution. I think it was incredibly beneficial for the members.

Wait a minute tim, you said reformers were kicking arse, so where is your thesis or is that another moment of artistic freedom of yours

Sounds a bit like a concessionary speech.

JJ...

I am backing the 141 incumbents as well. As far as Nelson goes, there is no way I would be comfortable with him in office. He has a long history of conniving, twisting facts, deception, ludicrous paranoid rants, and outright personal character degradation directed towards those that oppose him.

Keep posting in here, and keep the TRUTH coming!

P.S. Love the website!

You may back the incumbent officers of District 141. You are certainly entitled to your opinion, endorsement and vote. There is, however, a lot of discontent on the UA side regarding the District endorsed and membership ratified contract at UA. Getting these people to the polls to vote is the opposition's challenge. Members often believe that by changing the District leadership they can change the anti-worker environment that exists today. Especially; within the airline industry. I am in no way endorsing the UA agreement, the current leadership's endorsement and above all the membership's ratification of such an inferior contract at UA. My point is... many members on the UA side are now realizing how inferior this contract is and they are going to blame someone other than themselves. It would be foolish for the incumbents to underestimate this level of dissention. Based on the numbers of UA members vs. US members in district 141 it's anybody's guess.

One has a right to their opinion however, no agreement can even come close to what was achieved at united. Job protection for everyone with 2006 or better. No other contract anywhere in the industry contains work of other airlines. But I'm sure Nelsonomics administered by u4c champion tim will try to undermine what the people over here have ratified.
I will not tolerate his constant bs. He is no economist, accountant, or lawyer, let alone AGC material. He is a bitter little man for whatever reason has an ax to grind. I for one am standing up to him no matter how times he yawwwwwns and calls me an arse. Everyone needs to read what he did when he started his own union AGW. He left thousands of people stranded without a union. So nelson when your read this remember one thing if anything, what you did to the first TA probably cost people their jobs and I for one, am not going to ever forgive you.

And shown the way to concessions for the UA members!

Tim has done NOTHING for Fleet... EVER! He has placed his own agenda, and political aspirations ahead of everyone for decades. He is very bitter indeed, bitter enough to spend almost 100% of his waking moments attempting to undermine the Union Leadership in an effort to topple the organization from within.

Lately, it is suspected that he has even served as a mouthpiece for AH to undermine the current six negotiations... now that’s BITTER!

I just read the bio's for the candidates for US. Artie and Carl. Do these jokers really think that if elected they will automatically be on the NC? Seriously? Who do these guys think they are? Do they think that if they that happen to get elected they would replace current members on the NC? Who ever gave them that idea?

not surprising since you are one, we probably don't want people in office who call members stupid and such either  but we already have that.

Well I went to the polls and voted the other day @ EWR for the insurgents. Not the incumbents. I have only one vote and have used it in the best way I felt possible. IMHO, change WILL happen.

How can anyone vote for this present leadership is a joke right now.
I don't pay attention to Nelson at all. Nelson doesn't work for UA. But I do. I'm just a member who is presently living this "monumental" UA deal. There is some dissension here with this contract. Hell, ask the CLE people what's happening to them. So the company just opened up PHX. 17 spots. Everyone else on the ramp has to go to SFO. (If they took the system option.) This company isn't gonna spend over a million dollars to move people. A few people had to move on their own dime. Plus the company is dragging ass on LOA#6. If it was implemented, there would be more openings and places for people to go. And now what about the second 15 stations? Where they are going to go? SFO; ORD; IAH are the logical choices since they are junior.

Bottom line, Ograc is correct that a lot of people are dissatisfied. Many took the money and did not understand the consequences in this deal. I'm still trying to figure out what's so great. My hub took two very hard hits, and for many, it seems like is anything good will come of this deal.

I'm still waiting for my answer on why LOA #5 was put in this contract...........

Please don't fall for the BS.

Just my two cents.......

in all reality   it will be truly something to see come april 30 and may 1  with regards to the company proposal  and itll be equally interesting to see what  if any improvements they did to it
