Cb prez. And all of us nc good luck tomorrow in dc
you are quite presumptuous. Actually I did exactly what I said I would do when I took the Director of Organizing job and we were plenty successful due to my team as we turned around the entire dopey IAM plan.pjirish317 said:What would you like me to do? Apologize? OK, I apologize. But please don't presume to know what I did and did not do or say to my coworkers here. You have no idea. I blasted the hubs in 2005 also, should I apologize for that also, for them grabbing the cash and selling the smaller cities out for it? Again, for that I apologize. Now what about you? Did you write Artie's and Carl's "mission statement" on the unifiedforchange website? Cause I'm sure they didn't come up with that all by themselves. And lets talk about their "experience" or lack there of shall we. Who recommended them to run for US? And finally down to you. Should you happen to finally ride someone's coat-tails and get elected to a position of power within the union, because you and I both know that if the elections were seperate, you would have zero shot at ever getting elected, and you fail to deliver on your campaign promises, who will you blame? Because it's never your fault is it?
Sorry I was drivingblue collar said:Yes you are wrong. The company matches up to 5.5% of your pretax earnings. You can choose however much you want to put in, but the maximum company match is 5.5%.

If I am wrong then I appologize to Tim on my calculations
Let’s see... 70% of the UA Membership voted YES to ratify... that leaves around 30% that “MAY” be pissed-off enough to vote for change. Now, when you factor in the apathy component, I don’t see any chance for Nelson, and his boys.cltrat said:you could be right on the outcome, on the other hand sheer numbers tell me that UA is going to decide this election and they don't seem to happy with the current group so as they say, we'll see
I never lost an election, ever, other than shooting high and going for the District Prez job. Win some, lose some. Happens to the best of us. I ran for IP to push constitution issues and was incredibly successful at it. Even won a federal case to finally gain LMRDA rights for 320,000 members.roabilly said:Let’s see... 70% of the UA Membership voted YES to ratify... that leaves around 30% that “MAY” be pissed-off enough to vote for change. I will say this... “if’ Nelson loses (again)... he will be finished as far what little credibility he has left. He has been so cock sure in every election that HE would be victorious, he has done nothing but provide a mockery of himself...
I don't agree with your version of things. There is a lot that you don't know. That said, I really can't deny that if I win, I have my team to thank. It is an incredible team indeed and I'm plenty proud of them. And it truly would be humbling to have the membership vote for me, and I would be 24/7 just as I was when I was Director of Organizing. Even then, the organizing team is who won those drives!pjirish317 said:So you admit that you are riding the coat tails of the "pissed off" UA folks to try and get your position then tim? Because you know the US folks are on to your game. And you didn't answer the question, i didn't ask what you have done, I asked what would you do "if" elected and couldn't produce what you promised. Who are you going to blame then? Because it's never your fault is it.
I suspect that many of that 70% may have buyers remorse at this point esp CLE members and the many who have been been forced to drop to part time. apathy? mybe there will be some but not much on the UA side now on the US side there will be apathy aplenty.roabilly said:Let’s see... 70% of the UA Membership voted YES to ratify... that leaves around 30% that “MAY” be pissed-off enough to vote for change. My Dearest Roabilly, roabilly said:OK Nelson, let's see if I've got this right... you've NEVER lost an election other than the one you finished LAST in? How many other elections have you finished first in? How many elections have you actually participated in, as far as running for a Union position?
You would be a joke to a cross-examining prosecution attorney...
My bet is... they would have to relegate your cross to yes and no questions, with lot's of intervention from the judge to prod you into answering the questions as directed...
ORD and IAH voted strongly for the contract. Most were lied to. Others didn't trust the District leaders and figured that TA3 would just be the same thing, so some figured might as well vote for the contract and get the money then vote out the pansies. ORD and IAH are wanting bigtime change. Bank on it! I can assure you that Robilly doesn't know what he is talking about.cltrat said:I suspect that many of that 70% may have buyers remorse at this point esp CLE members and the many who have been been forced to drop to part time. apathy? mybe there will be some but not much on the UA side now on the US side there will be apathy aplenty.

As far as the present election, it's not even going to be close. Not at all. All the same pitfalls Canale made, your boys are making. Canale got 95% in PHX to vote for the 2008 contract in May. 30 days later PHX voted 300-25 against him. My dearest Roabilly, you must do a better job of separating issues. At any rate, I fully agree that your boys think they are going to win. They listen to eachothers reports and believe eachothers BS.
Great pain is in store for them as the membership machine is going to steamroll all of them. At any rate, please go tell your boys that 70% voted for the contract! LOL
