Charlie Brown or Linus or whatever you call yourself, have you learned from the errors of your ways of endorsing a ramp contract that destroys jobs after ratification? Will you pledge to at least recommend a rejection on any T/A that doesn't grandfather all of our current work [not talking Cindy dates]? Our company has made what? over a Billion dollars, yes? 2 Billion this year? In such a context, will you give us your word this time, unlike at United, that you will restrain from endorsing a contract that doesn't increase scope to all current stations?charlie Brown said:In Fact lets talk about Tim's US side of his ticket. There are 3 US people running for AGC. Tim is by far the most experienced. How much experience do you have Tim doing AGC type of work?? How many cases at step 3 have you done? How many cases have you ever mediated? How many cases have you ever arbitrated? How many airline contracts have you ever negotiated? You should tell the members at US, that you plan on all your US boys doing " on the job training" including you. We are still digging ourselfs out of the mess from 2008 when you put people in place and thought that " on the job training " was the way to go. Now you want people to repeat the scenario all over again, when you yourself admits it was a mistake. Your playing with the membership Tim, just to get a position. A AGC has some serious responsibilities, it shouldn't be given to people that needs " on the job training". And yes your guy in PHL and PHX maybe nice guys!! No argument!! But if they care about the members instead of a position, then they should get some decent experience under their belt before running for such an important position. But yeah your right!!!!!! You care about the US members!!!! What a joke!!
As far as experience, I will admit that you guys got a bunch of seat warmers on your team. No doubt about that. But keeping a seat warm and claiming experience at negotiations when you guys endorse POS agreements isn't the sorta experience that our members need. No thanks! The mayor of Toronto has experience being a seat warmer as well. So what's your point?
