Tim,

Easy to sit on the sidelines and tell everyone what should or shouldn't be done. How would anybody believe that you could do better if you can't even negotiate 5 US spots on your ticket? Did you sell the US members out to get elected?

P. Rez
Nothing will be easy to get something done but it must be done because nobody is 'doing it' now.

That briefing was sent out due to several personal emails I recieved asking questions, which is normal when you get many people's emails. Like I said, we are going to differ on what's poor taste. I have always, and will always answer people's questions whether that is in the breakrooms in person, or by email. Besides your not really worried about the US side of things anyway, since your throwing all them under the bus. Maybe you just don't want them knowing the truth.
Did the emails tell you to say, "Vote for Me, I'm the right choice and right path?".   That's the problem that has occurred and the one that you seem too arrogant and desperate to see.  Grandstanding and self pontificating is wrong in the context of answering members questions.  And especially so when considering LMRDA rights and access that are entitled to all candidates.

Just admit that you shouldn't have self pontificated in the context of whatever questions the membership may have had for you, at least not without allowing opposing candidates the same access.

You are the one desperate and begging for votes, so why would you suggest I am worried?  I don't think you get 2 votes if you bring that dopey TA back and recommend acceptance.

Carry on!  [sorry Dog Wonder but I like that]

Answer the question, how are you going to help anyone if you can't negotiate 5 US members on your ticket? Or, did you sell US members out to get elected?

what are you talking about?  I've already said that I support someone in law school from MSP over Charlie Brown.  IMO that was a no brainer to have additional members on the eboard that have a better understanding of the English language.  If I were thinking politics, I would have went with the less skilled Charlie Brown for votes, but thinking about the membership, we went with a guy from MPS who only has about 50 votes.

I don't worry about how many votes I get if I bring out a T/A. If we agree it should come out, then it will, and let the votes fall where they may. This T/A has nothing to do with our election. I've always said, if people don't want me in office representing them, then I want to get out of the way and let whoever they want in see if they can do the job. I don't have a problem with that. My problem is that if they support your ticket my position won't be going to a US person, because you decided not to to run a US person for the position, but a UA person. Also a UA person in the trustee spot which is also US position. This has nothing to do with the T/a. Don't worry, if and when a T/a comes out, I'll be more than willing for you and me to debate it on this forum. Because as usual, I'm sure you will only be putting a negative spin on it.

Being in law school doesnt make him AGC material and how is someone going to be able to travel all over the system and represent the members if he is in school?

Well, you are absolutely right I will be hammering any TA that comes back that is what is currently on the table.  If you are so worried about US AIRWAYS positions then why didn't you press the eboard to consider a US AIRWAYS VP position as currently already exist for United and Guam? Nothing was stopping you but you chose to only support Guam and toss your US AIRWAYS brothers and sisters aside by standing down to a US AIRWAYS VP spot.
At any rate, I'll have my work cut out for me if I get elected as the mess you guys created by not knowing what the hell you are doing is substantial.

Why do you keep precluding your remarks by saying that you are not worried?  Telling indeed.  Look, just inform the membership and stop the self pontificating "Vote for me, I'm the right way" hoopla. K?

Tim,

Let me break this down for you. We have 5 US candidates on our ticket and you have 3 US candidates on your ticket. 5-3=2. You can't negotiate 2 more US people on your ticket or you sold US members out to get elected, but everyone should believe that you are our savior? Get real.

Your the only one on here complaining about politics. Why don't you move on. I've told you if the members choose otherwise. I'll get out of the way. You can't say that though. The US members have stated several times in the past that they don't want you leading them by their vote. Yet you refuse to here their voice. You say they don't know what they are talking about, so 2 years later you jump on another ticket to run. That's why you load your ticket with UA people, because you know in the past that the US members have said they don't want you. This way if you win due to the UA vote, you can now go to the US members and say " hey even though you guys don't want me, you got me anyway ". Yeah that's really caring about the membership. And rest assured, any T/a that we get, will be fully explained on here, and not just the negative spin you want to put on it for political gain.

Silly indeed.
At any rate, try keeping politics and "Please vote for me because I'm the right choice" out of your union updates.  Self pontification is always in poor taste when giving negotiation updates.

And please don't recommend an acceptance with that nasty offer that is presently on the table. You guys should be ashamed of yourself settling on less than $23 and not grandfathering all current work.

If elected I foresee two years of in house fighting, back stabbing and nothing getting accomplished. You never did answer a question I posed earlier. What happens if Delaney doesn't retire? That would make him your boss again. You may be the first to be fired twice at the District level.

For the last time. This is a personal email that I have built for the membership. I told you, if you don't like what's on it, then don't read it. I don't really let people dictate to me what I can say and can't say. And as far as any T/A goes. I think you should go back and read some of your past post. You change and flop on what we should get or what we will get so much, I don't even think you remember what all you have said. If anyone has followed you, then your credibility sucks. You need to stand firm on a issue even if your proven wrong. I think you have a issue of thinking your right about everything. Nobody is right all the time.If you plan on ever representing the membership in negotiations or as AGC, then be credible, even if your not right all the time. You spin things so much, no one will ever be able to know what you mean. The company would eat you alive as much as you change colors.
