700 you've had over 50 people today watching this thread to see if there were any updates on your negotiations. They're not here to watch you and the hand puppet go at it. I am a withdrawn member of the IAM.
 
I was hired as Fleet at PI then after the merger we were US, so yes I was fleet, and before that I was IAM represented Fleet at UA and been a member of 141 for over seven years before Fleet unionized at US.

Members of the District 141/USAir negotiating team will meet with company representatives and the National Mediation Board this coming week in Dallas to continue negotiations for a pre-merger agreement. We hope that the progress we saw in our last meetings in Washington will continue and we can conclude these talks in the near future. As we have maintained throughout this latest round of intense negotiations we want to reach an agreement that is fair and equitable for our USAir members before entering into joint talks with our TWU brothers and sisters of American Airlines and will continue to meet with the company as long as progress is being made. We do, however, reserve the right to again push for a release by the NMB from mediated talks if progress stops. We encourage all USAir members to visit the District 141 website throughout the week as we hope to communicate updates more frequently than a final weekend recap.

Let's let the results of the negotiations guide us. Negotiations are always volaitile. It is why NCs do not release details until an agreement is reached. Everything else is opinion and unconfirmed speculation. One thing is certain. If an agreement is reached it is, and always has been, up to the membership to decide if it is accepted or rejected. Please keep in mind, some speak as though, because the NC has "allegedly" tabled issues or agreed to this or that it's a done deal. Nothing is done until the membership says it's done!
