It's a matter of opinion to say that United was going to do it anyways.  One thing that we do know is that the sUA ramp had all ramp work under scope at all ramp stations.

Before Bankruptcy and the hammer of the Judge?

If there was one jet flight at the station, then it was our ramp. So, we do know that BUF, SLC, and DTW would NOT have been contracted out if the TA didn't pass since we can say with certainty that all of that work was union work until it was voided by the TA.

Are you also here talking about the Judges Hammer? We maybe should change the language for TA here to FU,A or SOOL,A ????

Going from 29 protected ramp stations down to 7 is disappointing.   Maybe the common ground that me and you may have on this is that we both can admit that only having 7 ramp stations under scope is a bit alarming. I mean, even large stations like New York and Boston have no scope.

Absolutely agree. And I blame the ultra morons in the past who were too stupid not to join a Union and get a freakin CBA under there belt. I'll never say that they got what they deserve but they did get what should have been expected.

No I am not.  The UA ramp agreement, reached in bankruptcy, left bankruptcy with all ramp stations fully protected under scope, if there was one mainline flight in the station.  It also left bankruptcy with part time limits that were the best in the industry, and the best health care where most didn't pay one dime.   That was the contract they had until 6 months ago.

Negotiation update:

Kindly review what Mr Delaney says.  What he has now shifted to is job security, which is separate from scope.  When he says Job security, he is talking about 'no layoff' clauses.  It's mythical protection if one isn't willing to travel hundreds of miles from home.  Remember, your protections begin and end with "Who does your job?".   That, my friends, is NOT what they are talking about.  I haven't gotten the full report but I hope they haven't moved more towards ole AH on his insistence of bumping up the 56 activity bar, and in return, promise some new 2014 'no layoff clause'.  Kindly review your contract and you will see that there is already a no layoff clause for those hired prior to 1999, and ask yourself if this has helped anyone as stations got shut down.  Sure, BUF, IND, etc had the opportunity to move, but why give up work?  If you have scope,  then you won't need a no-layoff cause unless the airline doesn't fly to your station anymore.  But, even in that case, you have full displacement rights anyways.

Ok again the UA or United Airlines union represented ramp agents or FSC's. NOT the non CBA Continental rampers.

Tim if you ever win an AGC spot and become a NC guy I think you're going to be in for a very big surprise when you're sitting across from those company reps? Especially if you had to be responsible for thousands of people wearing no pants.

thanks cb   it does not sound like the donkeys want the labor peace they keep claiming they want..

AF Posters and Readers has any one been charged, convicted, fined, or jailed on the Company side or Union side for violating NDL or CDL currently or in the past ? Leaking , Collusion, and Leverage becomes the name of the game when either Party is not being honest or negotiating in GOOD FAITH . The process and system under the RLA and NMB is broken and has become a JOKE !

Not true Tim, at CLT PCE did the ramp, they are cross utilized. There was not ramp and PCE in CLT,just PCE.

Do you work for UA at CLT?  Before long it will be outsourced thanks to your IAM.  CLT is not a major markets for most carriers, AA doesn't have their own personnel in CLT nor does B6 or DL.

Nah. Not happening. Not much else to say on this one.

The sun was being blocked by some clouds here for a moment.

Do you?

GFY, stalker.

They are part of 1725 and AA had their own ramp and was outsourced over 10 years ago due to the TWU CBA and DL in CLT had their own ramp in the past also. And you don't work for US nor Fleet so you are a hypocrite, maybe tim is paying you or you are paying him, I have a source that tim offered money too.
