Thought you meant Usair. And so did anyone else reading.
This is the IAM we are talking. At Alaska Air hubs at ANC, LAX, PDX, and SEA are outsourced. IAM rampers are a dying breed of 600 in the state of Alaska and dwindling. AS prevailed outsourcing the SEA ramp to Menzies.

Ever consider the reason there is no deal is because your NC is playing the kind of hardball you want them to? I mean think about it. They went to DFW for cripes sake. Nothing finalized at HQ? Not saying you may or may not know things but my perspective looks at the little things like that.
There is no deal because they will get eaten alive politically if they brought what is on the table out.  No hardball.  Back ending wages and instead of scope enhancements, they rubber stamp Cindy dates and may have moved closer to Ole AH by agreeing to up the 56 threshold in return for a no-layoff. That's about as softball as you get.  Same thing at United, they waited until after a election and then served up a terrible TA1.

Where is the "Lock and Load?".   Who called that shot?  Although I submit that shot wasn't a hard one to figure out.  As I said, as they approached June, their rhetoric about "We ready to strike" would be snuffed.   Roa at least needs to put his "Lock and Load" back up and stop listening to Fairbanks who is the softest of them all.

Yea Tim but anyway you cut it you can't use it. Coming from you no matter what it's just rumor and hearsay as you're not sitting in that room. Maybe you're right again but I really can't see the NMB taking too kindly for game playing just to accommodate a few little local elections in the IAM. If this had been the higher ups that just finished off maybe.

Anyway I'll give you your credit if you got the details right. But I still think the fine print is more important than anything.

The fine print scares me more. I've laid off the fine print. Wiki mentioned health care 'cost neutral' changes to me where Delaney said the language change is cost neutral but he wasn't so sure of it.  Health care is exhaustive and is usally a 9 or 10 page item. Hopefully we didn't concede unlimited lifetime and all the other things that make our health care among the best in the industry now.  And having a future window date for ole AH isn't going to be fun either.  AH usually gets his way with these guys and does a great job for DP.  Not that great for us though but he does force fit our union leaders into shaking hands and forcing them to go out and sell his contracts for him.

But, I dunno about the health care language other than there was some language but that Delaney said it was "Cost neutral".  That wasn't even an issue last time as it was already tabled.  Only thing this time was scope.  That was it.   Hopefully, wiki will give me a full report an I can get it to the membership.

Do you?

GFY, stalker.

They are part of 1725 and AA had their own ramp and was outsourced over 10 years ago due to the TWU CBA and DL in CLT had their own ramp in the past also. And you don't work for US nor Fleet so you are a hypocrite, maybe tim is paying you or you are paying him, I have a source that tim offered money too.
Ahh the master of misinformation is at it again.

You are nothing but a fecal stirrer and a fraud.

You are lying, who told you Tim pays me to post here.

You know it's easy for you to sell all of this to the readers here Tim because none of your NC guys are allowed to come on here and refute what you're saying. It's like having a guy tied up to a tree and you're whacking him with a bat. Kind of unsportsman like conduct if you ask me.

Can any of the readers REALLY believe that there is almost nothing that has been agreed to that they'll like or is good? I mean seriously, think about that. Movement started to come right after the courts threw out the last arguments that could be made against the merger. Before that no the company wasn't budging because they weren't positive of their position.

Tim do you have anything better than your "Throw The Bums Out" mantra? What IF these guys do all that hard work and bring you all back a pretty good TA? But yea it comes after you've already chucked them out thinking they got crap coming on the horizon? Man that would really be unfair.

Tim I've caught some of your selling points that are not just attack the incumbents and feed on the emotions and those points you have aren't that bad. I wish you luck in your campaign though. It's just not the way I'd ever want to win anything.

Too bad you guys don't have observers sit in on negotiations. It would help clear the air

Even if we did... they would be made to sign Non-Disclosure Agreements... They wouldn't be able to tell us anything, without fear of repercussions!

tim,

In your post #6456, you say "Time to get the unskilled deadweight out of office and clean up the mess", So you want to replace them with more unskilled people from US. You are going to kill US with these two bums from US on your ticket who haven't even written a grievance. Yeah, I'll vote for two people who never ever had any grievance work. Seriously?

Our observers tell us what goes on in negotiations- that's why they're there.

...and few things are more effective in both squashing "FUD" campaigns and building engagement than that.

Why no one else in aviation does this is beyond me. If anything, AMFA should make sure MORE people get to sit in.

The IAM doesn't want transparency and accountability they want to protect the untouchable, appointed and self serving "leaders" like Roach and Sito but most importantly their institution.

Again; why are we (labor) meekly abiding by rules we never agreed to? You & I both know most of any talks are non proprietary, but just for fun, what do you suppose would happen if, say, 150 fleet guys/gals showed up at the next session? If they weren't let in, how long do you think it take for word to spread through the system?

AH & co. are smart enough to not take that gamble. Why isn't the NC courageous enough to try it?

You are the best......hands down.....nobody compares to you......Damn you are good !........

Now....show all that you talk about in writing please. Thats the only real truth and you know it... I don't need a Tim Nelson History lesson. I need factual proof please. Not HALs' ...not UAs'.. i would like USairways proof that what you say is true....
