He was the Grievance Committee Chairman at ORD and was tried and convicted of dual unionism and was removed from office.

Alright Tim I have looked at the resume's of the 20 candidates on your slate. Personally I find 8 that I feel are not qualified to be running for the positions they seek. You have a few on there that have never even been a Steward and I wouldn't vote for anyone who hasn't gotten their hands dirty in that arena. In fairness I will admit that some of your other candidates have some good qualifications to be considered.

Have you ever been a Steward Tim?
Yes. Shop steward, Local Chairman 3 times [even after I was a member in bad standing], last time I was appointed by Delaney and Stenberg. Local safety guy. I'm not sure if there is any position other than EAP that I didn't have as I have been thoroughly engaged for our membership and have worn many hats at the same time filling in gaps. And have also done things without hats like triggering a federal case fighting for LMRDA rights for 315,000 IAM members and winning a successful federal case to insure it, along with being a national advocate against nasty ass fleet service contracts that destroy our craft, etc.  I'm 24/7, work on weekends, etc.  Unlike the deadbeats we have in there now.  I'm not even joking, they can get some great deals on ebay with discounts on their new uniforms.

Not exactly what I would consider to be honorable. If one feels that the organization he represents is no longer something that he feels comfortable with, then he should recuse himself of those responsibilities before engaging with one he does believe in.

You shouldn't think you can have your cake and eat it too.

Didn't P. Rez have a cushy position with the TWU before the merger with America West?  Wasn't there a run off between IAM/TWU in circa 2006/07?

Then I do not understand why you didn't include Steward in your bio? Being a Steward to me is the most honorable calling one can have in a Union. It's a thankless foot soldier position but one that should be held in very high esteem. Why did you leave this out? Are you ashamed of that position?

As for the LMRDA case. That is a good one. BUT. The fact of that matter is that it was a miserable failure as the incumbents were voted back in overwhelmingly. That would have to leave people to wonder if you just do not have the pulse of the memberships wants and needs? Having the pulse of the membership in it's entirety is something only a really good leader can possess. Do you agree?

The rest of your comments I deleted because they were just a bunch of fluff.

What I understand was at that time the man was representing the interests of the union he belonged to and gave solidarity to as well. I don't think that should be an issue to anyone.

To get info from the other side of the table and use it against the side that is negotiating for you is not exactly honorable either if that is the case. Possesses too much inside information for me to swallow otherwise.  Jusy my opinion though.

Too bad the TWU didn't prevail, they would have done a much better job.  We can hope the membership rejects that alliance and TWU represents fleet, AMFA for MX.

Hmm, another reference to "we".... In another post Joshie is writing about a run-off 7 to 8 years ago...Yeh, and everyone thinks he's a banker..

As far as I know my ballot will read Association or No Union. Easy choice for me to make.

AMFA. LMAO. As the Valley girls say, whatever.

Possibly? Who stands to benefit the most by having a long (and expensive) representational drive for those who already are unionized? Not to mention that it could easily turn off people and turn them on to that "No Union" option.

Probably the smartest choice to make at the time it was made?

You are FSC, the AA AMTs overwhelmingly support AMFA.  If given the choice IAM, TWU, or Association, TWU would be the way to go.  The IAM has destroyed your craft at Hawaiian and United, tons of outsourcing loop holes in the current US CBA.  I mean TWU protected 17 stations in bankruptcy, IAM could only protect seven stations outside of bankruptcy when they had leverage in joint negotiations. Pathetic, anyway you look at it.
