I don't know what that means. You're gonna have to unpack that one a bit if you want me to respond clearly...

That the organized workers bargaining unit secured all these stations, in part with concessions that otherwise wouldn't have been necessary (to achive NWA's ask) during the bankruptcy, yet unorganized DL employees benefited having numerous stations insourced at the time of the merger.  Didn't you post the list some time ago saying NWA brought ~28 stations to the table, and there was minimal overlap of stations staffed by both DL and NW?

28 (or so) stations unique to NW, and 3 (CVG, SLC, SJU) that were unique to DL. The balance had ramp from both sides...

I hope you agree on this point:

Which is my point that if the scope protecting ~50 odd stations that see a single mainline UAL flight was viable in 2005 at the depths of the bankruptcy, the industry has restructured and more stable now, no reason they should have rolled over so easily and given it away.

I will do my part if and when asked.
Well I'm asking you to do your part right now. Don't let other divide us. Don't support or discuss any more differences between the IAM and TWU. Support unity and what we can do to make us stronger TOGETHER.

Oh and don't get me wrong people. There is a part of me deep down inside that says give me $30 per hour and dump all those little stations with a buyout package so they don't come into my hub.

Problem is I don't really like that little part of me. But I know he exists.
Thats n honest perception of ones self. Everyone has that sort in them. Even me. But then i put it all together and realize that in the overall scheme of things it is of no benefit to me really.  After the Feds eat me alive, what have i gained but 1/2 of what i would have realized if i had stuck to my principles. " All the parts together make up the Whole and are better than each separately ".

Tim and all of us have also asked what accomplishments have 141falling done with 6 years?  Thus far, the answer is nothing, so they just blame Tim.   Myself and others have asked this very question, but all they do is blame Tim and avoid the question.  That's not good enough for most of our members.  The way I see it, 141falling is a group of half a million dollar men. Getting rich on the membership wallet and agreeing on open end contracts is the reason why we are in this predicament, and the reason why I'll be shocked if any of them win their election. I wish the usair brothers and sisters well in their contract negotiations, but I hope they don't just blindly vote for all of the United airline candidates on the 141rising slate.  Vote for who you know, but I ask that you all fill in the other blanks with the United airline candidates from the unifiedforchange ballot.
Do you honestly believe filling in the other blanks with the United Airlines candidates from the unitedforchange slate will change the future for the members at UA? The push for change, a different mindset and education should be with the members at UA. They voted. They ratified. It's done! You ask members to vote the unitedforchange candidates on the UA side. Yet you endorse candidates that you do not know on the US side. A little hypocritcal don't you think?

Fairbanks imo was the most pro management agc ever and charlie brown worships him. Funny story is that mf screwed over charlie brown who was begging for an agc job when mike told delaney that rezler was needed on the ballot in 2012 because fairbanks said he had clt.

After charlie complained a second time, they finally agreed he can slot in gills agc spot since gill is suppose to get a glr spot win or lose.
i wish charlie the best as long as we arent stuck with him or others who lack knowledge about labor. Nothing against charlie but he simply isnt as qualified against a law school candidate who comprehends contractual language and has a bigger vocabulary than ten words. No brainer.
Law school candidate? Really? If, or when he graduates, where do you think he's going? It won't be representing organized members at US Fleet. We may eventually see him on the opposite side of the table. That is... if he's good enough. IMO... politicians and lawyers are self centered bottom feeders.

This self centered thought process is what needs to be identified and fixed with the entire membership. Your quote is dead on Mike 33. The change must come from the grass roots. The change must come from the membership. We must find a way to get the membership away from "what's in it for me" and toward "what's in the best interest of the membership; the craft and class." You can change leadership as many times as you would like. Until this mindset changes among the membership we are destined for failure. UA TA ratified by 70% of the members who voted. I don't have the numbers but I'm willing to bet voter turnout was below 60%. This is the root of the problem when it comes to the continual erosion of this craft and class. If this problem was fixed both the companies and the union leadership would have to respond accordingly. The US Fleet Service members need to learn from the mistakes of our brothers at UA. The US Fleet members need to LOCK AND LOAD!

I want to be clear on a few issues:

1. We do not have a contract yet, period. It would be out if we did. If we get anywhere close to where I think we can get, IMO, 90% ratification.

2. TN keeps calling me a liar, that is a bunch of bs, I tell it like it is whether good or bad and have a reputation of doing so.

3. TN needs to go back to his source because he is wrong. He keeps saying we have already caved on pay and scope, he is full of s**t.

Tim believes AH and me thinks he is being used...makes me wonder what AH would promise someone to divide and what would AH get from that.....?

I do support the association fully, its better than a war between the unions and the chance of of the members at PMUS and PMAA being non-union.
Then why did you post negatively about the CWA/IBT association

AH doesnt need me, he has been abusing our current misleaders for 6 years. The question remains, what has these "half a million dollar" men done in 6 years? The members want to know.

Tim,

Read carefully, you are WRONG! Go back to your source.
